I adore the minimalistic approach.

H’eye all! Tonight I’m your host for a most thrilling announcement event! Timothy Price from Off Center Not Even is using 2 of Resa’s One-Eye drawings to adorn his custom made guitars.
Resa did this One-Eye drawing with Tim and his guitars in mind. It is the first time anyone has seen it, except Tim, myself & Boogapony.
Here is a slideshow of 10 other One-Eyes Resa has done.
Yes, there is 1 ~ One-Eye missing from the slideshow, and here it is!
Tim personally picked this blue One-Eye from Resa’s collection.
There will be much deliberation amongst the Art Gowns Models, as to how we would like to present these & possibly more guitars on Art Gowns. While we are waiting to hear from all of the Art Gowns Models, my totally hip cousin, Boogapony, would like to say a few words.

Peace & love everyone! I’m fresh off a Jimi Hendrix tribute post over on Art Gowns & as you know, if it rocks, I’m in! I asked Tim about who some of his fave guitar players are. Here is my pick, of Tim’s faves; Barry Gibbons from ZZ Top.
Back to you, AGM Holly!
Thank you, Boogapony! Not only is Barry Gibbons an ace guitar player, but the song gave me time to change Art Gowns, hair & make-up. I like the feel of the gauntlets for all this rockin’ out! Eric Clapton is another fave guitarist of Tim’s, so here’s my choice for Tim!
It will be a few months until the guitars are 100%.
Nonetheless, if you are interested in buying one of these guitars for $800.00, you can reserve one now! Contact Tim Price at elcheo@swcp.com.

Resa’s new One-Eye ~ Should she fill in the Eye?
I became very confused when I found this illustration of Frida Kahlo in the street.
You see, she’s wearing a daft punk t-shirt, and has tattoos. Did she have tattoos? I don’t think so!
What’s a daft punk? There was no shop or restaurant nearby, that was named daft punk. Good thing, because how dare they use her image to promote themselves!
Turns out daft punk is a band. Also, turns out that the piece is by an artist named Fabian Ciraolo. He does illustrations that mash up old and new pop culture. I’m not sure what I think, but I am provoked.

House of Heart has a really lovely post up right now. If you like Frida, check it out!! Frida Kahlo and Nicholas Muray
Also, you will find at the end of a most informative post, a stunning poem by; Holly Rene Hunter.
More art from Toronto’s Graffiti Alley’s artists’ peaceful protest.
The straw that broke the camel’s back.
I believe this black panther is by Nick Sweetman.

There is LOTS of writing in the alley. I couldn’t capture it all. Sometimes the lane was too, narrow. Also, there was a portrait of MLK JR. coming up & I was running out of battery.
James Baldwin – “Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.”
Smaller bits from the alley.

I find this piece beyond interesting. I found it in an alley, twice.
The first time was on May 6, 2020. There were no leaves on the trees, it was sunny and the bare branches’ shadows made a veil on her face.
The next time was June 8, 2020. The leaves had grown in on the trees, and the sun was in a different position. The shadows made a lacy frame.

Found this when I went to look for a different piece.
The piece I was looking for had been fouled with urine & the word pee written all over it.
As you can see, I was still rewarded for my efforts.
However, I had to work around a parked car.
I could not get a full straight on shot.
Still, worked the 2 spots I was given.
