I ♥ Crisp

Crisp did a mural in Winnipeg, and Sherrie made sure it was one of my first graf photo-op stops when I got there.

Born and raised in Winnipeg, I was impressed with how Crisp’s  mural suits the city. With his style, artistic vision and expression, the mural is in the top 5 of the over 700 I have captured in 5 Canadian cities.

    1. Thank you, Le Drake! I really like the shoes, too. 🙂 Unfortunately the next day was very wet and they got very muddy when we found murals surrounded by muck..
However, as you said before, nothing can hold me back! 😉 🙂

I love the shot here, actually I like the graffiti too 🙂 Sorry I couldn’t resist that temptation, but that’s just me being a bit on the wicked side 🙂 I hope your Easter was fun 🙂

    1. Wicked away as much as you want! 😀 I can take a compliment on the chin. “lol” Easter was wonderful, and I hope yours was, too! 🙂

  2. I shared this on Crisp’s Facebook page and he replied to us…. 😀

  3. So cool you heard back from the artist! This is awesome. I’m glad you take the time to photograph the details, like how he worked the pipe into the face. Very well done.

    1. Visiting this mural has been the highlight of my visit so far!
My pictures don’t do it justice.
Thank you for all the sharing. 🙂

    1. Great spotting! 😀
One of the joys of outdoor art is that you never know how reality will affect it, be it the brick or stucco it’s painted on, parked cars, tags (not my fave when they mar the piece) parked vehicles, signage, poles and trees. Whew! 😉

  4. Excellent photo capture of this very impressive work! appreciate seeing and learning about it! love your site!
Thank you so much for subscribing and opening the door to your exciting world! Eddie

    1. Thank you, Eddie! Crisp is a wonderful artist! There are many amazing artists whose work exists mainly in the streets. Now the streets are my art gallery! Thank you for coming by and enjoying my collection!
