Okay, Def Leppard didn’t have the best hair of the 80’s Hair Bands, but it was pretty good. NO OTHER BAND had a ONE ARMED DRUMMER! Omg, he’s fabulous. I do have a penchant for drummers, as some might remember. This rock/sex anthem still gets me going.

Omg… that was aye a difficult book that one and unfortunately I was asked to change the original and basically rewrite it in two weeks..after signing…cos in the original Kara had taken the real bride”s place to get back her son, I never liked it after that cos it was insufficient time. (Having changed the plot I really needed to rewrite her entirely. ) When I got my rights back I swithered about reversing to the original, then decided to keep things as they were but entirely rewrite her to work with the story. So thank you, truly. Seriously I love this mural xxxxx

My N’s bands were only ever semi-famous in Canada… a bit in the states, until the great unhinging.
Girls would follow him home, from wherever. That was in the daytime.
One day he was at a music store with the drummer from the band. After they returned home, the doorbell rang. I was on my hands and knees washing the kitchen floor. I still had the rubber gloves on when I answered the door. The giggling girls wanted to see the boys, but when I menacingly snapped off the gloves, they ran away.
Sigh… backstage after gigs was a hellhole.

Of course we are in lock down. It’s been a hard year for street art, but I did find a few cool pieces from when we were between lockdowns.
I haven’t been able to get out of my hood. Normally I would take public transportation to another part of the city, and explore there.
Couldn’t pay me to get on public transport right now. The street cars are Covid cars!
Still, I have a bit of a street art pics stash. So, will be using that up!

I well recall my first ever ‘dither’. Oh yes. I was likely 5 years old. I’d been asked by Auntie Maud, a bastion of gossip with a heart of stone, what my lucky number was. Not having a lucky number I slipped into deep thought. The room was silent. The wait for my reply irked Auntie Maud hence she butted in demanding I impart my lucky number. At the time, and counting forward I came to a halt, because of her rudeness, at number 2017. At that I remarked ‘2017’ is my lucky number. “Michael, you’ve been dithering and 2017 can’t possibly be anyone’s lucky number.” A dither later and I’d reached 2717. I asked if that would do instead of 2017, to which she replied, “God give me strength.” I’d no idea that this God person she spoke of was well-known for his strength. I never did speak with her again. I’ve always dithered.
