I found this Giraffe on Sunday. It was the Birdo I needed for Kids’ Month.
The entire mural feels like world of fun & toys.
I imagine this is a magic sock filled with creative ideas and projects.
The best is that it’s in a crevice in an alley where kids live and garbage is kept. This mini-mural works so well, the trash bins go almost unnoticed.
No one brightens cement city like Birdo!

Who goes there? Wolf or a coyote?
I’m a coyote, but I’m practicing to be a wolf.
Whoa, just hold on there!

I changed my mind. I’m a wolf! Yip, bark, arooo, yip.
Not so fast little buddy! I’m going to ask my cousin Wilbear. He lives on a shipping container across town.
Howdy Beary! I’d say he’s a coyote.
Well, maybe you guys aren’t Grizzly Bears?
As sure as you and Beary live in the same mural, Beary and I are grizzlies. I’d like to add if people click on the mural above, they can see how splendid it is.

KIDS’ MONTH 2017
The first day of spring is in a few days, & the Uber 5000 chicks celebrate with art.
The painting doesn’t get any higher than this. It is mostly 2 feet off the ground.
I tried hunching down low.
As you see, getting down on my knees & elbows worked better.
The Chicks are writing!
They are reciting and acting!
They are painting!
They are erasing mistakes, and starting over again!
They’re taking off to the alleys to paint street art.
They are riding waves, and
…painting Sea Serpents.

Cash Akoza has taken First Nations style art to a new horizon.
In an older, drab area of Winnipeg, Cash has added color and theme & brightened it up for all the kids who live there.
There are 5 painted walls, all in small area between a street and an alley. It’s a place where a lot of kids live. This one of the walls.

The traditional costume is very beautiful.
The happiness is beautiful.
