Thank you Georgiann! Your “Chicklets” and poems were a Kids’ Month highlight!
Artist: Jarus
OMG! Emmanuel Jarus is absolutely one of my top 5 street artists, and this work is his.

I read on Georgiann’s blog, Rethinking Life, that she liked snuggling up with a nice hot drink, a good book and a cat. I don’t see the book, but the sentiment remains.

This mural, in Liberty Village Toronto, is seen best from about a block away. Please… click on the pic below to see how gorgeous it is!

Some close-ups.

Thank you, Georgiann! Purrrrrrrrr! ⭐

The Artist:
It is definitely Jarus. I couldn’t find a signature. It could be behind a car.

Yes, Resa; well done to Georgiann (and you); her contributions were a delight!
I love this mural; the pussy-cat in he foreground makes me smile…. and want one! Hahaaaa 🙂
xoxoxo
I always want another cat! 😀 Don’t tempt me. I have 2 right now. My 17 year old passed last year. Anyway, if I do get another one, it will be an older cat. 😀 xoxo
It’s beautiful 😀
It surely is! 😀
Realism, and the detail, as wondrous as always. 🙂
It is a neat one! 😀
Simple, beautiful image on this mural. Loved the way the artist used colors and geometrics to frame the action. … and cheers to your tribute to Georgiann.
Yay, for Georgiann! Of all the murals I’ve ever seen, this one looks the best from a short block away. It is a neighborhood with a lot of walking going on, and it’s neat that you can see it far away, or close up. It’s a lovely presence.
An astounding work of art by Janus — thanks for this beautiful mural, Resa. I did click on the overview photo and appreciated seeing the cars for perspective. It’s magnificent! (And I’m not even a “cat person.”)
Meow! Lol! It’s a fabulous community mural. You can see from so many places. 😀
Resa, this is so wonderful. I love it. The cat is perfect, the whole mural is just fantastic. Thank you so much for this wonderful artwork. So grateful. ❤
I’m so glad you like it! ❤ When I first saw it I got a shiver, and knew you would love the cat, and the whole mood. Thank you again for your contributions to Kids" Month! ⭐

Hi dear Resa. I just love the cat. What a ball of fun ! Big hug. Ralph xoxox ❤ ❤
It’s a beautiful kitty! ❤ Big Hug! xoxox
It is so beautiful!. 😀 😉 Wonderful, dear Resa!. Sending love, across the miles! ❤
Got the love! Love back to you! 😀 ❤
I’m learning a LOT about murals from you, but this one – gorgeous as it truly is – seems like a whole different breed of work. It’s more “painterly” than much of the street art I see, which makes it unique and (to me) almost mesmerizing in its power. I absolutely love it.
I know what you mean. Street Art has evolved greatly in the last 4 years.
Many of the street artists are very accomplished in a traditional sense. They went to art school, they have had shows, etc.
Breaking through as an artist is DIFFICULT. Street Art is a free showcase to the world. Some of my faves have gone on to sell their art in a traditional manner. However, without Street Art, they would not have been noticed, be making a living or better.
As I walk by the many galleries on Queen St. W., I glance inside. The effect of Street Art is loudly evident.
Thank you. Great perspective on the chain of talent and how it develops.
Wow, I could reach out and touch that gorgeous cat!!
It is very great! I thought the same thing when I first saw the cat, a block away! Happy Easter!
Happy Easter to you too Resa!
The attention to details of the Graffiti art is masterful and wow!!!
The cat is beautifully captured along with everything else that’s going on. 🙂
Resa, I miss you so much and just want you to know that your always on my mind. 🙂
Aww, Charlie, you are such a sweetie! ⭐ ❤ ⭐
The mural is fabulous, and it is painted by one of my fave street artists.
So, I've been hanging in the alley for 4 days now with some of Toronto's finest street artists. What a lot of fun! They've been painting, and I'll eventually do a several part post on my experience.
Charlie, I took a white wedding gown out there yesterday, and one of the artists spray painted her, now she's a graffiti gown!
I have to go shoot more pics of her, but it's rainy today. However, as soon as the rains go away, I'll finish the shoot.
I love your poetry riddles. I thought I had solved yesterday's, but you had already posted the answer. I'm going to have another look at today's riddle. I think need 2 or 3 days to solve one, but maybe it will just come to me. 😀 😀
Wonderful! Love cats! Cats turn super-loving when you’re sad. At least, mine did. That’s what it reminds me of.
Agrre, and if you feel sick and they purr on where it hurts, you feel better! 😀
That’s how you know they love you. I miss my cat.
Adorable kitty and artist.Trust you to come out with the most striking and reflective art.I am waiting to see your graffiti gown.
Oh, I am so excited about her! I took over 200 shots today, so there should be some good ones!
Will post it in early May.
