Korea Mural

This cultural Korean mural is found in Koreatown, Toronto.

It is a very long mural, and very high up.

Also the wall becomes stucco, at some point, so these are not the best pics I ever took.

Showing it from left to right, in sections and close-ups.

80’s Hair Band Cock

Me, jealous of a roosters hair?

Okay, I suppose they are feathers, but look at that hair (erm, feathers)

I’d date him!

Okay, Def Leppard didn’t have the best hair of the 80’s Hair Bands, but it was pretty good. NO OTHER BAND had a ONE ARMED DRUMMER! Omg, he’s fabulous. I do have a penchant for drummers, as some might remember. This rock/sex anthem still gets me going.

What 80’s Hair Band do you think had the best hair?

Black Panther

Or, Beth’s Cat, Olive?

I read in a comment – “People always think she’s in a costume all year round because she’s a black cat, but she is going to be a black panther for Halloween.”

When I asked Beth about Olive dressing as a Black Panther for Hallowe’en, she replied Olive didn’t have any outfits.

So, I assume Olive actually morphs into a Black Panther. Cool huh?

I know it’s almost Christmas, but I’ve been a bit scared to post this!

Locked Down, Again

I’ve never started a post with a reflection, before. Yet, it works for me here.

I can only go where I can walk. So, I have been going down some seedier, more neglected alleys. This beat up piece grabbed me.

The red eyeball looks like a tag.

She’ still a beauty.

It’s not just the art, it’s the entire performance of junk penning it in.

I’ve got lots of street art saved/hoarded, so should be posting new stuff for awhile.

Also, there’s a lot of early posts, that only 3 or 4 people got to see. Could always do a few of the best.

I got a commission to draw a pencil portrait of Frankenstein. Why not? I’m perfect for the job, as I draw a female super hero (Princess Blue Holly), a Torch Singer in Gowns, (Rene Rosso), Art Gowns Models in gowns, and a 1960’s Go-Go Dancer in cool mini dresses (Boogapony Holly).

It’s not quite finished, and I took this today. Today is almost as dark as night. Perfect for Frankenstein!
