The Peace Dove is made from recycled pieces.
The entire mural is made from found bits, broken glass, tile, buttons, metal bits & more.
I’ll post the rest of this mural next time, which is more than birds & peace.

This beauty is in a side lane off of Kensington Avenue, in Kensington Market.
“Oasis Skateboard Factory” is a Toronto District School Board alternative school design program.
Here students earn high school credits by creating their own brand and running a skateboard business / professional design studio.

This bird, in a Canadian aboriginal style, is by the ““Crossing Communities Art Project“.
Local artists make art with women who are marginalized by social/injustice issues. They’ve either been in conflict with the law, in prison or at risk of offending due to a past history of poverty or violence.
