Basil’s
Painted in 1991, this mural has weathered 23 brutal Winnipeg winters, and the vicious sun of 23 prairie summers.
I wish I could have seen it freshly painted.
I want this kiss, and I know who I want it with.
Basil isn’t only a very yummy herb and restaurant, it’s yumminess of life.
It’s located at 137 Osborne Street

Viewing South to North in the Ossington alley just N. of Queen St. W., this sweet bit ends at the corner.
