Somewhere in Miami ….

Many thanks again to Norm for this wonderful gift of pics!

From the streets of Miami, near “Wynwood Walls”

MURAL OF THE YEAR 2004 -190 Disraeli Freeway – Another Charlie Johnson masterpiece, this clever mural wraps around 3 sides of a ginormous building.

However, the MIXER, pictured above, needs sound tracks before he can mix tracks. So wrap around to the opposite end wall of the building where THE SINGER lays down her tracks.

Then THE HARMONICA PLAYER

.. lays tracks just before the mural

Wraps around the corner to the lengthy front face of the building where we find,

THE GUITARIST

BACK UP SINGERS

BASS PLAYER

DRUMMER

SAXAPHONE

KEYBOARDS

I said it was ginormous!
There’s this little outcrop with a BANJO DUDE

Then we arrive back at the end wall where the mix happens.

Guess these are the young wanna be Rock Stars!

The Yamaha Center on Portage Avenue, Winnipeg. Painted in 2004, it is a magic mural!

I was in Winnipeg end of the year in 2012, and shot 127 murals. I am headed back for another visit, and will shoot more murals. I’ve only posted 64 of the original 127, but hey, it’s nice to have extras!

Best I could do on a long shot with a pedestrian camera, and 8 lanes of vicious Winnipeg traffic between the Mural and I.

Found him in all his fierceness off Dundas St. W. near Dufferin.
Starts out with some Graf Writing,
then into what I’m calling Super Blue, I’m glad to be corrected on that should anyone know.
He’s followed by another graf write.
Artists appear to be the TH KREW w/ Sight & Ekwal

Forever looks like a temporary bit at McCaul and Dundas St. W.
I’m pretty sure it’s not commissioned, and will be painted over soon.
I doubt that her girlfriend around the corner is commissioned….
….but, who knows?
I just love these 2 girls on the street bits!

This 20 meter (65 foot) long mural is on an old apartment building. Located along a very narrow pathway, I found it impossible to capture it in it’s entirety.
It starts with a woman bearing water. Beside her is a phoenix. There is then a door that looks like it’s from Tarot Cards. The center section is a puffy abstract followed by a second Tarot door….
…then enter the Dragon!
I have made a Slideshow with elements from the mural and placed it between the 2 Tarot Doors.
What an adorable Dragon!

SKAM is a very well known Graf Writer in Toronto. I love the Graf Writing, but I can’t always read it. Nonetheless, I adore this style of art!

SKAM has opened a unique store where one can go to buy Street Art supplies. (For legal art of course!) SKAM’s – Home Base Toronto
