I saw this colorful strip, as I was being driven somewhere.
When I returned on foot, I found 5 abstracts by the tracks.
The sidewalk was thin, the traffic heavy and fast. The sun reflected off the paint to blind me.
I didn’t get hit by a car, and in spite of sun blindness, I managed to capture all 5 panels.
I couldn’t get any further back, and the art was somewhat elevated.
Just feeling the traffic whizzing by made me dizzy.
At first it was all just a smear of colours. Then I saw Jimi Hendrix playing his guitar in the purple haze of heaven.
Now, I see other things, but it’s too, late to shoot the close ups.
You can see, in the pic below and other pics, the sun reflected in the painting.
The sun is so fabulous, I think it adds to my shots.
“Sun, sun, sun, here it comes”
I thought this face was a crab or some kind of sea creature, until I got home and looked at my pics.
I’m not sure what else I missed? If you see something, tell me!
This fabulous art experience was a mere 1 hour walk from my home, & 1 hour back.
Nothing gets me to walk further than the anticipation of finding street art.

Amazing, dear Resa… I even thought of precious gems… love this finding my friend… have an excellent week! xoxo😍🍀
Yeah, I thought this was quite cool! You have a great week too, Dear Aquileana! ⭐ ❤ ⭐
Oh… I’m going to look for the precious gems, now! 😀
Reblogged this on Greek Canadian Literature.
Thank you very much!
Resa, if I was riding by it I would have had to pull my camera out also! You always inspire with what you share! Hugs and blessings!
It was worth the effort! Hugs back at you! 😀
An abstract look with more going on than initially meets the eye!
Exactly, which makes it a lot of fun!
loving these
It was a great day shooting the collection.
Wow, how interesting, Resa. Beautiful and delicate but I saw birds and a bunny:) I don’t know if they were actually there, but I saw them anyway. This was such a treat. Thank you. ❤
I see a parrot, another bird and 1 bunny head. I also see 2 conga drums. 😀 So glad you like this. I just love it!
What a riot! I can see an ocean, island, forest ,sky and —-
Yes, now that you said that, I see an ocean and fishes. I’m going back to find the island and forest!
Please let me know what you find.
Wow… neat how every look sees more details!
Pretty sure I see at least one heart, too 😉 🙂 💜 Jackie@KWH
I think I see 2 hearts. OMG! Now I see a pair of scissors.
Creative energy is all around us and it gives breath to the days we live.
Dear Rebecca,
You are so right!
I’ve been so blessed in this life. I get to create. I get to enjoy what others have created. I get to breathe.
I adore you!
What an interesting work, to enlarge the images still appear more characters, is great.
The sun plays with your shots, enhancing the colors, he claims his role in the work.
It’s true! When I enlarge the photos, I see much more. Did you see the duck?
I think I see a variety of marine life, and also a duck or a swan.
xoxoxo
I am laying on your couch Dr Resa, taking this psycho analysis test of yours and all I see is cats, CATS everywhere. Am I sane ? Another thing, I think your fee of one US dollar is excessive. Can I get dressed now ?
Love and big hug. Ralph xoxox ❤
Erm… Cats? You’ll probably be okay…….. eventually! Maybe, one day, in the future sometimes. I’ll waive the fee, this one time. Yes, you can get dressed, now. That will be $1,000.00 US for your clothes! xoxo <# ❤
Oh wow ! That’s a rip off … umm … my clothes are already ripped off 😜
Can you recommend a costume designer ? So much cheaper ! 😉
Big hug. Ralph xoxox ❤
Perfect weather and a great find. Glad you got the photos safely too! It’s a beautiful explosion of colour, how artists envision such creations is a mystery!
It was the nicest day we’ve had since New Years! I almost had forgotten how to walk.
Ste J! Thank you for the Kids Month plug on your blog! It is much appreciated.
It’s going to be a little more educational as well.
Example: I will be reblogging a post on Puffins. Inese took all the photos. I have 2 kids’ book reviews from your blog.
There’s more! It’s only 1 week away!
Well if you are doing a Puffin post, my reviews of Tom’s Midnight Garden and The Watchers were both published in the Puffin imprint just to tie in with what you are doing.
I’ll check them out!
Found myself studying it, Resa; quite mesmerizing! It’s times like these I’d love to know the artist’s thoughts.
Stay safe; can’t have you blinded by the sunlight when cars go whizzing by! 🙂
xoxoxo
Yeah! I got the books today! ❤ ❤
❤ xoxoxo
Amazing. But you shouldn’t have risked your life there, Resa. You should have come back in some different time.
Awesome post Resa. One of my favorites!!
Beautiful. Be careful photographing in the middle of intersections!
