Bon dimanche Resa ♥
bisous
love these scenes of market life!
Me, too, Cindy!
I have a difficult time shopping in the super chain stores that have evolved in our society.
I adore the fresh smells at the Farmer’s Markets, and to meet and support the person (not Corporation) who grew my food is a joyous feeling.
We have 2 permanent markets in Toronto.
I bet a lot of people in “The Holler” have delicious gardens! 🙂
Impressive… 🙂
🙂 😛
These are fantastic and take me back to the corner grocery. My daughter is studying abroad in Santiago Chile this summer and she has been sending back some pictures of some great local markets there. Really like what you have here 🙂
Markets are an important public square. I’m very happy your daughter is experiencing this.
I live in an area of Toronto where we still have corner grocers. I’m lucky. 🙂
you’re making me hungry !
“lol” I get the feeling you are almost always hungry! 🙂
insatiable 🙂
I’m still bumed out for missing the exhibitions that Sarah had in Hamilton.
Maybe she’ll return.
In April, when I was in Winnipeg, I shot a half dozen of her murals…. at least!
All are fabulous!
So much great detail! I love that you took lots of photos so we could see every part of it – awesome share, Resa!
Thanks, Christy.! I always try to capture as much of the details as possible. The artists really outdo themselves on the murals.
A wonderful trip back in time .. love it! Is the mural on the location of a former market?
Yes, and now there is a more modern store inside the building.
However, it is still a local business and not a chain store.
La vie de quartier peint sur le mur.
Il s’agit d’un style de vie qui est en voie de disparition au Canada.
