In Hamilton, we have recurring waves of taggers who, some, have potential to produce great mural and graffiti work but mainly relegate themselves to extremely crude tags. Some even ridicule muralists who express themselves with obvious skill and talent. Its a rotten shame.
We still have a lot of tagging going on in TO. However, the idea of respect has infiltrated their world and they usually do not tag on art.
The artist, Elicser, who painted this piece has graced our streets with many gorgeous works.
