Tagging is rare in Winnipeg, but a black door in a Graf Mural is a target….

…and what’s that neat green fringe emanating from the rear-view mirror?

Uch, then Sherrie caught me making an asp out of myself when I went in for the shot

Anser Mural – Part 3

“These eyes have seen a lot of loves, But they’re never gonna see another one like I had with you.”

The opening quote is from a song – These eyes – written by Randy Bachman & Burton Cummings from Winnipeg, Canada

They’re older now, but a great song is a great song.

Have a listen while you look at the rest of these eyes by Anser!

Anser Mural – Part 2

It is improbable to take a shot of this mural without capturing a face, faces, par-face or face piece(s).

This outstanding mural deserves to be pondered if you have the time.

I hugged the wall, getting as many of the faces as possible.

I eventually made my way to  a small patch of gravel.

The end of the wall is the end of the mural.

I finally got a shot of Anser’s Mursl from the patch of gravel. Yeah, and I zoomed in for a clsoe-up.

Anser Mural – Part 1

About 6 days after the ice storm I got restless and went out to shoot some Graf on Queen W.W.

This wall was hard core tags awhile ago, and now Anser has made it glorious!.

This outstanding mural is filled with faces and parts of faces. You notice the stand out ones at first then start to clue in on the rest.

Problem: The parking lot is on an incline, and it was sheer ice.

There was some gravel hugging the wall, so I hugged the wall trying to get as many of the faces as possible from the most impossible positioning.

I eventually made my way to the car, passed  between the front of the car and the wall where there was a small patch of gravel. I’ll have to show you those pics in Part 2 & maybe even 3!

There are a few other tags on the piece, but it is Anser’s style, and is tagged Anser as well.
