Black Panther

Or, Beth’s Cat, Olive?

I read in a comment – “People always think she’s in a costume all year round because she’s a black cat, but she is going to be a black panther for Halloween.”

When I asked Beth about Olive dressing as a Black Panther for Hallowe’en, she replied Olive didn’t have any outfits.

So, I assume Olive actually morphs into a Black Panther. Cool huh?

I know it’s almost Christmas, but I’ve been a bit scared to post this!

Locked Down, Again

I’ve never started a post with a reflection, before. Yet, it works for me here.

I can only go where I can walk. So, I have been going down some seedier, more neglected alleys. This beat up piece grabbed me.

The red eyeball looks like a tag.

She’ still a beauty.

It’s not just the art, it’s the entire performance of junk penning it in.

I’ve got lots of street art saved/hoarded, so should be posting new stuff for awhile.

Also, there’s a lot of early posts, that only 3 or 4 people got to see. Could always do a few of the best.

I got a commission to draw a pencil portrait of Frankenstein. Why not? I’m perfect for the job, as I draw a female super hero (Princess Blue Holly), a Torch Singer in Gowns, (Rene Rosso), Art Gowns Models in gowns, and a 1960’s Go-Go Dancer in cool mini dresses (Boogapony Holly).

It’s not quite finished, and I took this today. Today is almost as dark as night. Perfect for Frankenstein!

Cat’s Third Eye is a Gem

Found this on a garage door a few blocks from home.

I’d like to hit some other alleys in the city, but I won’t take public transportation to get there and back.

I can do a 3 – 4 hour walk.

A few times I got a ride from N to a place where it’s a 4 hour walk back home.

Fortunately, I have lots of pics stashed!

The Artists?

A Verrie Sherrie Hallowe’en

I hope this doesn’t terrorize you all, too much!

But if you have the nerves for it, sit back, relax and enjoy the hell ride!

Oh, so hideous!!!

Blinded you with the last one, eh? Well we’ll just have to work in B&W until our retinas recover!

Giant insects

Lizards … I like lizards, unless it’s

GODZILLA

Who thinks of these things? Vincent Price? Boris Karloff?

Tim Burton?

Horror comes in many more forms. Yet, what could be more horrifying to man or woman than wearing

this hideous bondage costume on Hallowe’en?

Love, sweet love

Dear Holly from House of Heart made a sweet and beautiful post after she saw this photo of me and my guitar player love! She even wrote a poem. I’m so honoured!!!

There’s more words in her post, and a couple of videos.  Find it at https://houseofheartweb.wordpress.com/2020/10/29/love-sweet-love/

Love is What is Needed

by Holly Rene Hunter

Here in paradise

the sun goes down on the

crescent shore of an empty beach

she found herself with a guitar man

and A life time of memories

It seemed so clear then and now

love is what is needed

Indulging Conjecture

I can’t think of any poetry more perfectly drenched in metaphor & as sensually delightful than Holly’s.
I can’t think of something more perfect to follow my previous post, Frank’s “Beach Walk Reflections”. I’m closing comments, so if you want to say something about the poem, do it on Holly’s blog!
Here’s reflecting on you, kid!

House of Heart's avatar

Pink sand pulls away

from the glistening shore

melting fondant in the

sticky heat

Minute ecosystems inhabit

tiny grottoes in tide pools

of wet sand

Some days I stroll the coast alone

escaping into secret realms of lovers

where there is no logic but

an aching crush I hold to my breast

a passage betweena heart and the

mountains where I left you

Allow me to come undone beneath

tender hands on eggshell

the gentle quake of a sigh upon your

unshaven cheek

Let me   drown in the green river of

your eyes where there

is no threat of war hard silence

or the burden of forgiveness
