High On Birdo

I’ve been a big fan of Birdo for 4 years.

Artist: Birdo

I’ve got at least 10 garage doors and other pieces I haven’t posted, yet.

Artist: Birdo

However, this mural is really something special, as it is 5 stories high.

Artist: Birdo

It is in a parking lot in the business area, so the only day for capturing it was Sunday. I don’t like getting up early on Sunday, but I did for this.

Pink Diamond Birdo

Did you know that pink Diamonds are one of the rarest gemstones on earth?

Artist: Birdo

Well, I don’t own one, but Birdo painted one.

Artist: Birdo

This Birdo looks a lot like a baby Blue Jay, but feel free to correct me, as I’m a bit off when it comes to nature studies.

However, Inese, at Inese Photography is not challenged. Her nature posts are true gems.

This post is to thank Inese for her Puffin Post contribution to Kids’ Month.

Giraffe by Birdo

I found this Giraffe on Sunday. It was the Birdo I needed for Kids’ Month.

Artist: Birdo

The entire mural feels like world of fun & toys.

Artist: Birdo

I imagine this is a magic sock filled with creative ideas and projects.

Artist: Birdo

The best is that it’s in a crevice in an alley where kids live and garbage is kept. This mini-mural works so well, the trash bins go almost unnoticed.

No one brightens cement city like Birdo!

birdo blue

This is the most beautiful “birdo” I’ve ever seen.

Artist: birdo
Artist: birdo

It’s on a side street, north of College & west of Spadina.

It’s part of a larger graf mural.

I stood across the street for a wide shot. Perfect position would have been in the middle of the road, but the traffic was heavy.

BBirdo #19

Left to right, there’s these 2 cute birdo animals.

Then blue beauty

BBirdo #3

Then some graf writing

BBirdo #7

DMC, ACK & MXC have signed  the writing, and may have assisted birdo with the rest. I’m not sure.

Birdo & Wales Prairie Girl Graf Mural

Okay, here is Birdo’s bird.

BirdoWales #3

Here’s the entire Graf Mural that “Prairie Girl” is part of. You will notice the birdo is wearing a Chief’s Bonnet as well!BirdoWales #2

I put the slideshow in order starting with the graf writing at the beginning (extreme left). The close-up of the “birdo head” is quite cool.

I’m ending this post with a shot of “Prairie Girl” that was not in the last post because if it wasn’t for her I would not have been so daring to capture all of this.
