Okay, this is a mini-fence in Chinatown, Ottawa,
…but it’s between buildings w/painted doors & windows.
Doors to apartments
Boarded up windows
Many feature birds!

Artist Marissa Godwin painted the gorgeously stunning chickens.
Excellent! Love all the birds.
Birds were the most popular. I thought I would find more dragons, but I only found 1.
A great way to dress up the drab – love the creativity and how inviting each door is. Hi Resa, hope you are well.
The doors are all very sweet… yes, inviting is a perfect word. I’m well, thank you! It’s a bit overwhelming coming home after almost 3 months, but I’m working on it.
I take it then that the shoot has finished? Can’t imagine being gone from home for 3 months – I used to travel for business and be away a week at a time. Three months, not sure I could do it. Have a wonderful week Resa.
Thank you! You have a wonderful week, too! (I was quite homesick, but work was an all consuming focus)
The “doors and windows” pictures are fabulous.
I agree! I’m so glad you like them.
The creative expression within our world is truly inspiring. Beautiful captures, Resa!
Thanks Rebecca! If only all countries, governments and people used paint & brushes instead of guns …. I do believe we could create our way to peace.
Love those, though chickens must be my favorites! Great find!
I agree, the chickens are gorgeous! 🙂
Aren’t they just great ! I just love the first one of the stork.
I do hope that you are settling in back at home and that J and J didn’t tell you off too much for staying away for so long my friend.
Big hug. Ralph xoxox ❤ #<
Resting??? After being away so long I am overwhelmed by the catch-up work! Nonetheless, next week should be restful. J&J didn’t tell me off, but I have been their slave since returning. Also, as they took over my spot in the bed since I’ve been gone, I am now enjoying sleeping on a small cot in the hallway. Much love xoxo ❤ #<
Oooh, I forgot about the catch-up work that must have built up while you were away.
Oh no, give cats an inch and they take over your bed. Is it a rocker cot ? I’ll sing you Soft Kitty if you like. lol
Lots of love back. xoxo ❤ #<
I want an image of a chook, please. Oh yes, also any birds, plant life, animals of any kind, faces would also be good… 😉
Hahaaa, Resa; these are so sweet. They must brighten up the day for anyone who sees them… Well, probably most who seem! ❤
xoxoxo
Is a chook = to a chicken? LOL! I think the paintings brighten up many moments for people, even if they don’t realize it! xoxoxo ❤
Yes… a chook is a chicken, as a roo (or a Kanga) is a Kangaroo to us in Oz… (Australia) There’s another one! 🙂
I know you are right, sweet Resa; they just don’t know it.
All the images are too, too sweet.. ❤
xoxoxo
Wonderful colors from the orient, and I can’t get enough of the red door, but love it all! 🙂
The red door is very cool! One of my faves. 😀
Red has become my new fave color of late. Wonder what that means? 🙂
All the colors in each and every painting is extraordinary and wonderful. 🙂
Love these so much. 🙂 🙂
😀 It sure beats walking along an old dingy street with no art, or anything pretty or colorful. 😀 😀
True. True. Your capture the paintings so honest and beautiful. 🙂
