In a very old area of Ottawa, Chinatown,
…paints its doors and windows.
Doors to apartments
Boarded up doors
Restaurant windows
And the many doors to the apartments over the small independent shops

Sweet music & Beautiful images! Thank you Laurent!
Amazing post Resa! Thanks, as always, for sharing all these wonderful pictures.
…And thank you for sharing at Teresa of Avila Turns 500!
Wow that’s amazing! I would love that here in town.
The best is that the area is so old and drab that it really perks things up. Old and sad becomes aged and glad!
Absolutely. And stylish.
Resa this post is outstanding. The bold colors and the wonderful detail…a talented artist’s work. Just beautiful.
Even in an old worn down part of a city, art can revive the hidden beauty… of course not hidden any more.
What a great idea. Those doors must really brighten up a once drab part of town. I wonder if other areas will do the same thing. Have a wonderful weekend Resa my friend. Hugs. Ralph xoxox ❤ #<
It seems that street art is more prolific in the older areas, but not exclusive to older areas. You have great weekend, too! xoxo ❤ <#
I love this kind if mural art. That crop at the top is excellent.
It sure brightens up the outer world!
The top pictures seemed apt as everybody is going Pokemon crazy again. The doors are great as well, it should be a rule that all doors are look arty.
Or a passion that all doors are arty! People should want to… not be made to. I wish everyone saw the value in street art. Sculptures are totally accepted, why not painting?
Everything is a blank canvas, it is a shame that the arts are always the first to be cut back in education when they can have so much of an affect on your outlook when we are surrounded by it.
I tend to appreciate the paintings more than the sculptures as they usually seem somewhat bizarre.
😀 😀
Wow; they really brighten up the outlook… I do love little creatures, as you know, Resa… These, and the plant life, are gorgeous. 🙂
xoxoxo
They do brighten up life! OMG! How exciting, I just bought “Tomorrow’s End”. 😀 xoxoxo
They do, they do brighten up life.. 🙂
Oh so good, Resa… There are lots of answers in that little book…. Tickled that you ordered it…. So, so good..
Lots of hugs and kisses… ❤ ❤ ❤
