Lol! Thank you dear Ralph! A stitch in time saves nine, but can anyone ever mend my mind? All kidding aside, sending love to You, Natascha and cats. xoxoxo ❤
Yes, I did – exciting! I am so grateful for our street artists – they bring art to where we are – now, in the present. They remind us that to pay attention, that life is amazing, that creativity is embedded in every cell of our bodies. Sending my gratitude out into the universe….
I’m just dizzy with spring! Found 3 murals on a 2.5 hour walk yesterday. What a joy it was to get out on our first nice day of the year. No political art was found yesterday, only great art.
Still, the politics are only escapable from time to time.
Wow, it sounds like you had another great outing in mural land 🙂 I look forward to the future posts! Speaking of posts, I’m catching up on emails today and see there’s one from… YOU! Talk soon over there xo
I agree! The image you speak of has deep meaning, even though I’m not exactly sure what it is. Sometimes I just want to ask the artist. Otherwise, I just make up meaning….lol… like I do with much of your poetry!
Very unique, the cross stitch painting too. Remembers me on these “Home sweet Home” posters from the past. Thank you for sharing Resa. You are wonderful collecting these great artwork. Michael
Lovely. I think one of the things I like about street art is how it puts “light” and colour a¡on otherwise derelict buildings. It may be THE response to our sad, grey, concrete world. 🙂
Beautiful flowers and interesting depiction of snakes. “Everything is Political” on the door is fantastic and fascinating.
All in all the entire house & garage is much nicer& more fascinating to look at!
I love the needlepoint art on the door–quite unique!
It is very unique! I like it, too!
Beautiful flowers and snakey-armed people. The needlepoint is striking and potent. Thanks for sharing X
It sure makes a gem out of a run down home! X

Until the end, I had no idea these were on the same building. Appears the artist is brightening up this neighborhood. Good find!
Yeah, it is a very old area of Toronto, downtown Chinatown, to be exact!

Love the beautiful flowers and the needlepoint ROCKS. Just wonderful. ❤ ❤
A building is never too, old or ramshackle to have art on it! ❦❦
Thank you for highlighting these amazing artists. There was a great deal of thought, time and effort that went into creating these murals.
You’re welcome, Rebecca! Did you notice that they are all women artists? It’s so fab that there are more and more female street artists.

This is so gorgeous Resa, nothing this pretty can be considered run down. Love went into this and I adore it! Thank you dear Resa! ❤
You’re right, it’s a pretty sight filled with love! It wasn’t so nice before the art, though. I love that women did it!!!!!! xoxo

Beautiful flowers, colors are brilliant. Another fave to add to my ever growing list. 🙂
😀 Long lists are great, as long as they are not CHORE lists! 😀
I agree! 😁
Everything IS political lately! Or so it seems… Great collection here!

The flowers are gorgeous.
Bugt there is soemthing about the two figures entwined with nature. It is a very deep mural that can mean so much.

Lol. Too funny

Beautifying those sadly dilapidated buildings is a great idea, if they can’t be renovated then they can at least be beautiful.
The petit point is incredible, meticulous and more.
Very unique, the cross stitch painting too. Remembers me on these “Home sweet Home” posters from the past. Thank you for sharing Resa. You are wonderful collecting these great artwork. Michael
Awesome, especially the petit point embroidery.
I have become more and more enamoured with the petit point!
Amazing art everywhere. That’s Toronto 🙂

It is a response, and a making of beauty. 😀
Absolutely.
