COMMISERATIONS TO ALL MY AMERICAN FRIENDS, ON THIS 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF 9/11
Looks like this underpass art will take 1 more post to complete.
MEDĒIO is the artist, and he was so lovely. Monkyi whose art I will share in Scattered V, introduced us. He was kind enough to chat with me for about 15 minutes.
The art extends along the wall, well past the actual underpass.
As this is one of my fave pieces, I’m sharing 3 more pics below.
There’s 3 pics of this very cool Graffiti Lux below.
This artist likes to paint tea parties. I have seen & shot a few now.
Love the blue streak on the cheek.
Gotta have cartoons and madness represented in street art!
Some finishing touches were added to a few pieces. I got most, but want to double check. Those will be in Scattered 5.
Not sure if that is Andrea or Catlin below, painting the above.
I have been a fan of Bunso’s work for several years now. However, I just don’t get the painting in the slideshow below.
The image actually unnerves me somewhat.
Not sure what this says, but I think the yellow says – INSIGHT?
Fell in love with this stamp, so have to include a mini slideshow.

The Artists – in order of art appearance

It’s lovely to see such work on this day of sad commemoration. I especially love the peace dove, the women drinking tea, and the bird stamp (a European robin?).
Thank you for sharing all this art, Resa!
Thank you for gifting us with such a beautiful collection of street art on this sad anniversary. We need more beauty, more loving, more kindness, more compassion, more of every single good thing in this world. Less war . . no war.
MUAH!
