The Road to Valour

To all my American friends: I know this is a Canadian mural, however, I believe it imparts a spirit of honor meant for all Vets.

  1. is that last mural, the poppies of Flander’s field ?

War is a great waste of life, but sometimes evil does exist. And who is brave enough to stop it?

    1. Yes, i would say the poppies in a Canadian piece of art is Flanders Fields, as a Canadian wrote the poem.
However, it is what I have to offer up.
      I agree…. WAR SUCKS!
Yet… if not for brave soldiers, who knows where we would be now.
      Take care, Bill! ❤

    2. The beauty is, I do believe, it was an American who inspired by the poem, began the tradition of wearing the poppy as an homage!

    1. WWl. Thank you for asking!
Winnipeg is filled with Veteran Memorial murals. I decided to feature this one because it won a “Mural Of The Year” Award. Our Vets deserve the best!
