Location: 180 Boulevard Provencher. Painted in 2013

The heavily textured wall (like giant stucco) and prairie sun made this fabulous mural a challenge to shoot.

Sometimes it looks like bead work images to me. I just luv it!

Wow, it’s like smoke and sand! Fabulous texture and color~
Smoke and sand is a great description! I’m a big fan of all the textures outdoor art is painted on. Resa xo
This is super!
I agree, Bill! What a great find! 🙂
Fantastic work and that texture adds to it!
At first I was worried about how it would photograph with all that texture, but in the end I am very pleased!
Ann,I always love your comments!
🙂
These are great 🙂

Agree! 🙂
You should call in and see me sometime, but watch out for the Skeleton’s finger if you take the plunge 🙂 lol
If the gates are shut just rap on
them loudly and I will let you in 🙂
Happy Weekend Resa 🙂

Well, I am afraid of skeletons, except when it’s graf. “lol” 😉
I’ll come by soon, and see what happens! 😎
You have a happy weekend, too! 🙂
They’re not too scary, though my site is a bit of the spooky side for some, I have a category list on my right side bar where you can skip the horror and perhaps read some of my Flash in the Pan short stories that I write for Red at M3, anything of mine that is accepted for publication is given to a children’s charity of my friend’s choosing, which is nice I think 🙂
There are some romantic pieces in there too, and perhaps some nonsensical one’s along the way, I hope that some of these will be of interest and that you will like my Space 🙂

Have a delightful rest of weekend 🙂

Wow!
I know! xo I love the results of outdoor art, where brick, wood, etc, is the canvas.
Reblogged this on Spiritual challenges .
Great my friend ! have nice day With love maxima
Thank you! 🙂
The texture had to make it more difficult to create …. and the lady in black looks familiar.
It is quite wonderful! Who do you think the lady looks like? Audrey Hepburn?
I wasn’t thinking of an actual person, but of some art that I have in my head … but I like your link to Audrey Hepburn.
Thery nice … But remove cars … they block the view … !
Yes, the cars block the view.
However, often I have only 1 opportunity to capture a mural so I do the best.
Here I went on a day over Easter holidays when many businesses were closed. Unfortunately, whatever shops this lot services were opened.
This is part of why I use many sectional close-ups.
Also, I love to utilize the reflection of the mural in the car when possible.
