This 1920’s historical mural is in Islington Village.

It depicts children fishing in Mimico Creek and the underwater wildlife that existed in the creek at that time.
I couldn’t get up onto that private balcony. (rats)

It was painted in 2012.

Find it at 5096 Dundas St. West.

Oh wow! Amazing!
I know, like an emerald, right?
Amazing, love it 🙂
It is a great one! 🙂
Beautiful!
John Kuna is a wonderful artist. He’s done almost 40 murals in Islington Village, and as soon as spring breaks, I intend to shoot as many as possible!
Beautiful … only sad bit is when you said it showed what used to live in the waters. I assume there is less biodiversity these days. Lovely artwork.
Oh, I’m sure one can still catch tires, bottles and pieces of eight! 😉
I’m trying to be funny, but it is sad!
