Sherrie and I had a really fun lunch at the “Hard Rock Cafe” then head out to grab a few murals in the hood.
You gotta love this one at “Now” magazine HQ’s!
NXNE is not the artist, it’s a music, film, interactive and comedy festival.
It’s a hard one to shoot. It’s just so big & high, and I had a hard time finding focal points.
So I decided to be as crazy as the mural!

This 1920’s historical mural is in Islington Village.
It depicts children fishing in Mimico Creek and the underwater wildlife that existed in the creek at that time.
I couldn’t get up onto that private balcony. (rats)
It was painted in 2012.

In the Queen W. alley.
I see the first one reads “Elicser”. (Dear MAMA)
I’m thinking this says “Horus”.
I’m happy to be corrected.
I’m still working on the rest. If anyone can read, I’d like some tips.
