Anya in the Alley

Not sure why I have been hoarding this.

It’s far too, beautiful not to share.

It’s a very long, skinny and close to the ground piece, so I have to show you the image in 2 pano pics.

Some close ups.

    1. Interesting! I can see why you get that feeling of the Orient from it. I found a neat mural in Chinatown, yesterday. It doesn’t have the gold, but has the same motion in blues and lavenders.

    1. Your welcome! Yeah,I confess, I have a hoarded stash. Not sure why, but I have a few hundred, not all this nice, but I just can’t seem to get the time to post everything… new works come along… I’ll just save this for later, for when the city runs out of new street art. Lol.

    1. IKR! I came to my senses.
I suppose this makes me a Hoardress…. A Sorceress Hoardress.
I have a tiara. I could put that on. Then I could be a Sorceress Hoardress in a Headdress.
      😀

    1. AH! I get the Miami vibe thing.
Lol at first my eyes saw “vice”, but my eyes oft deceive me.
Still, it’s true, there is lots of Miami in this art.

  1. I love this art and it reminds me of classic Hollywood head shot portraits but as my friend TVTA mentions with the twist of added 1980’s style colour.
(The yellow and gold lighting on the face creates that “Hollywood Glow” that portraits had and works superbly contrasting with the purples and lavender shadows).

    1. I adore you guys! You have a vintage take on everything.
Really…everything new is borrowed from the past.
The “Hollywood Glow” works for me. I get it!

      1. Hi again, TVTA and I are very similar in a lot of ways and I have worked with him (and Wooof!) on many projects. It’s not surprising his appreciation and knowledge of art (and adverts) is rubbing off on me.

Speak your art mind!
