From the most recent alley with all the new art I found,
I now believe all of the 16 pieces were painted by women.
I’m still working on confirming that.

I’m still overwhelmed, as it has been 4 years since any new art, and I was there 3 days ago.

I can’t help myself. I’m starting with the leopard, although the post’s header is Chichen Itza.
I seem to find a lot of these larger, hard to photograph murals.
We’re all fortunate that I am not showing more pics of the cat’s head. I was out of control photographing it!

On a minimal find graf hunt day, I came across this mural.
It was in the process of being painted.
I met the artists.They spoke broken English. I spoke broken Spanish.
Despite the language differences, I learned that the artists were working with youths who had lost one or both parents to drug addiction.
I went back 6 days later to photograph the result.
The ukulele originated in Hawaii. It is related to several Portuguese instruments, in particular the machete and the rajão.
