This First Nations themed mural on Regent Avenue in Winnipeg…

… was painted this year by Cash Akoza aka Brian Gasenzer.

It’s about 10′ high & 60′ long. Here’s the left side as you face it.

The entire mural below was taken from quite a distance. It looks great if you click on it & blow it up.

Here is the right side.

The small final photo is my favorite…with the animals. What a beautiful work.
I like the final pic, too! It really is amazing how much empathy art can draw from a human. My take, anyway.
Gorgeous! I am always amazed that you never run out of beautiful things to share with us!
It is beautiful, and Ann, I can’t believe I never run out. It seems I find new street art every time I go out of the house. I was in Winnipeg for a week, and caught another 2o awesome murals there.
This hobby seems to be sticking around. 😀
” It looks great if you click on it & blow it up.”
Sure does, Resa… quite beautiful… xoxoxo
TY, Carolyn! More beauty to come! xoxoxo 😀
I know Winnipeg isn’t in the Pacific Northwest, but I see the influence from the native Indian influence. Wonderful colors!
PS: I’ve discovered a few new murals in my city. Got to get down there for pics. 🙂
Looking forward to seeing the murals!!!
I have a post ready about murals … but they are the latest ones!
This one has a real WOW factor! LOVE, LOVE the design it has the old spirit mix with a modern twist and that is a fabulous combination! This is my favorite one of all!!!
I agree! Wait until you see more of what this artist has been up to. My fave is yet to come!
Waiting patiently! 🙂
The paintings are so exquisite and pure perfection. Love it. 🙂
What colors!
These are something special too!
This artist blows my mind! Amazing!
I adore his work! I have a major piece I haven’t posted, yet. I just have collected so much Street Art that I am about 400 posts behind!
