It is, and has been very grey in Toronto since January 1.

Fortunately, I have this bright and beautiful garage door.

Vernal Equinox is nigh!

Perhaps these 2 hummingbirds are on love? Well I’m in love with them!

The previous São Paulo post had hummingbirds, as well. However, they are different paintings that appear to be by the same artist.

Luv, luv this bit!

Below is a piece from a globally famous street artist, Eduardo Kobra.

I adore the humor revealed in the series of photos Carolee took of this apparent King.

Brazilian artist Paulo Ito s very political with his work. A mural he did of a starving child eating a soccer ball during the The World Cup went viral. Click on the pic below to read a news article on it!

Carolee says: “Also, in the picture of the mouse and the emperor, it’s kind of hard to see in the photo but the threads in the emperor’s coat are actually real!”

“I often walked down this alley when I lived in Sao Paulo. It fostered art installations, capoeira performances, concerts, children playing, people walking their dogs.”

⭐️ THANK YOU CAROLEE ⭐️
Carolee Croft is a Canadian writer who had been living in São Paulo, Brazil. She has now returned to Edmonton, Canada. She has just released a new novel Ariella’s Rebellion.
Carolee writes novels that are in her own words “I hope not too naughty for your audience”. I find that a tad endearing coming from an admitted fan of Spongebob. You can find her books on Carolee’s Books on Amazon
“The purple-haired sailor was always visible from my window. I will miss her and Brazil!”

“The 3D art is from an alley that’s located at the site of an underground river, Agua Preto, and hosts a community of artists and an environmental group that would like to see the river resurfaced.”
It was a very tasty day in Graffiti Alley.
Of course this is not Uber 5000. It is Doctor Evil.
However, he must have had something very tasty.
This is Uber 5000. I’m in the lift taking pics. I have a better one, but I’m saving it for when I do the actual post of the mural, which was in progress.

When Uber invited me up & in, I was thrilled beyond words. Then he said, “let’s see how high this goes!” WOW! We went up to the fourth story. There was some art I had only ever seen a sliver of from the ground.

Then he told me UV lights had been installed over his mural. That was why some of the colors seemed stronger than usual. This mural will glow in the dark. There are 2 more day-glow murals being installed in the city, and I know where they are.
I knew I had to leave him to his work. I snapped a few more new bits in Graffiti Alley on my way out, including Dr. Evil.
I felt blessed!

When I visited Uber 5000 website, I realized he had done a Jimi Hendrix mural I had covered. Click on Jimi’s pic to visit the post.
I will be updating the post, as I did not know who the artist was at that time. I will also be adding an Uber 5000 page to the “Artists” pages.
Never in my widest dreams did I think I would get to capture the above piece. Thank you, Uber 5000!
Along the Liberty Village trail, they are painting all of the old silos and hoppers.
This is a painted hopper.
It is beside a leather company, but I prefer to think “pleather”.
Very interesting faces!
The legs are interesting, too.

The Artist: Is unknown to me at this time. As always, I will try to update as info incomes.
So what if this art is on an old wood garage with many flaws & dry rot?

It was a “Le Gasp” moment for me when I found it.

A woman, a tiger & a bird are one helluva gorgeous line-up!
