Along the Liberty Village trail, they are painting all of the old silos and hoppers.
This is a painted hopper.
It is beside a leather company, but I prefer to think “pleather”.
Very interesting faces!
The legs are interesting, too.

Great post Resa. Have a great week!
You have a great week, too, Dave!!!
I love this one, Resa; very serious faces indeed, with some very odd leg positions. But then, the artist/s didn’t have much choice! Do you think there was a little humour involved? I’m sure it would all be solved as you walked around it.. the next image proving to belong to the leg, as it were. Smiling as I leave……. 🙂
xoxoxo
Humor… for sure!
It is a very unique artistic happening, and I smiled as I walked north.
😀 xoxoxo
wonderful, Please get back to us with artist
Will do!
Love it Resa, always fascinated with the detail.
So much art…. so little time.
How true!😉
How wonderful…to cover unattractive things, with beautiful art.
It’s a big thing here in Toronto. Pay an artist to paint it, instead of tearing it down for a landfill.
Works for me!
Fascinating Resa!
It is for sure fascinating, Cindy! I’m still logged into my other blog, but you know it’s me! LOL!
Resa, what a wonderful use for these hoppers and silos! Imaginative and creative plus a lot of fun. I’m caught by the expressions in their faces.
I am thrilled we are painting on the hoppers and silos! Why throw them in scrap yards when they can be art? So glad you like this!
Nothing flashy … just a collection of ordinary people done in a unique style that is very well done!
Agree!
This is so cool. I love this kind of art.
Resa, you always shine the light for all artist to shine and be recognize by their craft. 🙂
I adore this street art! I’m so fortunate that there is so much of it in my city! 😀 x
Indeed. Unlike here in L.A. there’s art but not that much. Only when there needs to be there’s a lot. You’re lucky. I wish I was over at Canada to experience the culture of the arts and the people. 🙂
Then I think you will come here one day, Charlie! 😀 ❤
Yep. I might even want to move over there some day. I’m sick and tired of L.A. I want to live somewhere quite, peaceful, and full of creative minds. 🙂
Well, it’s not quiet here, but there are pockets of quieter, and some very funky, neat areas where artists of all ilks tend to co-mingle, such as Kensington Market.
I’ve been to LA a bunch of times, mostly for work. I’ve also been to New York city a myriad of times. As much as I adore LA, NYC has it all over LA for creative spirit. There is something cruel about the LA spirit. xx
Either way, I’ll feel more at home in Canada than I am here.
Your end assessment about L.A. is spot on. Living in L.A. most of my life has had its ups and downs. But, lately its been pretty bad and its definitely felt in the air.
If you can’t get to Canada, try NYC for a spell! Canada is a different world from the USA. We are quite socialistic. We have public health care, etc.
I’d much prefer living in Canada because of good Health care, arts, poet community, and science-fiction. 🙂
😀 You would enjoy the arts community! 😀
I’m sure I will. Art is the key to a supportive community. 🙂
Is the leather factory still in action? These pictures seems to me like a tribute and comment to its workers. Seem like actual portraits.
Ellington
I believe it is a warehouse. I agree the images look like portraits, but I have no idea who they are. Fab work!!
Very cool, great detailing and styling. I like all these jackets.
The artist has a unique style of painting faces. The jackets are well done, too!
It’s a great way to brighten up an old hopper with nowhere to go but the junkyard. Make trash into art!
