I was impressed when I watched the promotional video.

Kids’ Park & Community Garden

I found this art a few days ago in a kids’ park & community garden.

Of course it was -10C, but as this is Kids’ Month on GLaM, I took off my gloves and shot these adorable images that decorate a tool shed.

Looks like kids’ of all ages painted this.

Below, this one side of the shed seems painted by an older artist. A teen? A parent?

Calling all Kid Lit Authors and Book Bloggers-You Can Make a Difference to a Child in Need…

Michelle from Michelle Eastman Books runs a project every March to bring picture books to children with incarcerated parents or grandparents in Iowa.

You donate a book. The parent or g’parent reads it. A recording is sent along with the book for the child to enjoy.

When I decided to post my kids’ street art, I wanted to dedicate the first post to her very worthy project. The Picture Book Pass It On Logo is at the bottom of this post & will take you to all of the info.

These children worthy photos are from a housing project in Manitoba, Canada. They decorate a murky tunnel kids walk through daily.

It wraps 2 partial sides and the front of an art store.

I’m showing it left to right. Above is a bit from the first corner turning onto the front of the store.

The woman above, and below make up the front.

Turning the last corner,

we find another woman reflecting at the water’s edge.

The above image is a set based on Lil’s Beauty Salon, which was a family business that Guy’s Mom and her sister founded.

Maddin directed “Cowards Bend the Knee” while in pre-production on “The Saddest Music in the World” which starred Isabel Rossolini & will be the next post on this mural.
