Ste J – Book to the Future sent us this colorful mural. I think it’s a fun piece to segue from Kids Month back to regular programming.

He has written a wonderful commentary, which is in quotation marks & italics.

“On an adjoining wall to the entrance of the Broadway Cinema in Nottingham there is a vibrant and eye catching mix of images.”

“I like to see this as a promise to amaze and inspire, to allow escape or thought provoking material.”

“It is wonderful when the cinema experience starts outside and triggers off that excitement.”

“Art can influence moods as we potter about town but to work in tandem with the surroundings makes it even more interesting as a medium of feeling as well as visuals.”

Ste J, who writes really great book reviews, some film reviews & once in a while a game review, also writes fab Graf Reviews.

A wonderful mural — I love the flying saucers.
Thanks for pointing them out! They weren’t that noticeable to me. There’s so much going on.
That’s out of the box one ☺ I love it!
I luv it, too! 🙂
Wow, pretty complex with many interesting layers and subjects, definitively a one of a kind! Love the mushrooms and the UFOs, a conversation piece for sure!
A conversation piece…. for sure!! 😀
Great stuff from Ste J. I didn’t know he was aware of any artwork ourside of the pub.
LOL! Hehehe, I think he loves to review, anything! He actually does a good mural review!
Hurray for Ste J. We love him.
I think my whole life is one long succession of reviews.
Ste J, Your life should be about reviews…. you are so amazing at it!
Well there are plenty more coming as well, a whole library full at this rate as well as an assortment of other things in the pipeline!
The pub I went to on the same day had portraits stuck on the ceiling as well as wallpaper featuring giant phones. At least that’s what I think it was….
Gee, that sounds interesting. If it was outdoors, it sounds like it could be street art! I suppose it might classify as Pub Art. Of course that would be a whole new art blog concept.
Maybe you were in the Sistene Chapel.
@ Bumba & Ste J
Would that be the Sistine Chapel Pub? 😉
Oh yeah, that’s where I was.😏
Too much communion wine.
No such thing as too much wine. Shall we all meet at that Chapel Pub?
@ Bumba & Ste J -Yeah!, no such thing as too, much wine! See you both at the Sistine Chapel Pub! 🙂
Lots of fantasy and imagination!
Lots of fun! TY, Maria!
Love the colors. Great street art, Resa. 🙂
I love getting street art from other places in the world! 🙂
An interesting story that keeps on telling – highly creative and filled with imagination.
It is a fun piece, for sure!
Reblogged this on Book to the Future and commented:
Showcasing great art with Resa once again…
Yay! I hope we’re not having, too much fun! 😀
We can never have too much!
😀 😀 😀
A beautiful use of graffiti art.
