Liberty Cat Mural

Thank you Georgiann! Your “Chicklets” and poems were a Kids’ Month highlight!

Artist: Jarus

OMG!  Emmanuel Jarus is absolutely one of my top 5 street artists, and this work is his.

Artist: Jarus

I read on Georgiann’s blog, Rethinking Life, that she liked snuggling up with a nice hot drink, a good book and a cat. I don’t see the book, but the sentiment remains.

This mural, in Liberty Village Toronto, is seen best from about a block away. Please… click on the pic below to see how gorgeous it is!

It is definitely Jarus. I couldn’t find a signature. It could be behind a car.

This blows up nice, too!

Bees – Their 11th Hour

Without bees, there may be no time left for life.

Artist: Nick Sweetman

Butterflies, hummingbirds & wind also pollinate, but bees do the lions’ share. Click on the next 2 images, & see bees working in all their glory.

At first, when I saw this mural on Queen East, I thought “Gorgeous”!

Artist: Nick Sweetman

Immediately thereupon, I wondered why the artist had a clock set at 11:00, & gears in the mural with the bees?

Artist: Nick Sweetman

Then it hit me!

Bees, & all pollinators are dying off due to pesticides & herbicides. It is their 11th hour. After discussing this with Marina Kanavaki, she made up her April’s clock read 11:00 for this post.

Artwork by: Marina Kanavaki

On Art Towards A Happy Day Marina spreads the importance of all life on the planet. If you click on her clock, bees will fly you to its original “Diamond Four” artwork.

So, let’s view this mural’s details from left to right.

Hello! Don’t bee afraid of me! I’m pollinating for you!

There was a shadow growing across the smaller right side of the mural.

I feel it is nature adding her own poetry. (blows up nicely)

When I looked across the street, I saw that the clock & a bee were reflected in the windows of a library.

I see time & the bee, melting …. fading away.

I think that I shall never see, a mural pretty as a bee! (TY, Joyce Kilmer!)

Click on the S6 Logo & the bees will fly you to Marina’s boutique. I’ve bought tights, a clock, travel mugs & make-up bags, all with Marina’s art on them. The quality is very good. Keep an eye out for discounts & free shipping!

More bee reflections.

Corktown

This baby’s hair is flying. We’re racing to thank Frank from A Frank Angle  before his blog break.

Artist: Gary Smith

Let me start at the beginning, in the past, as shown below in an olden days Corktown image.

Artist: Gary Smith

The car above is to the left of the streetcar mural, and part of the mural in its entirety. (Thank you sun for the interesting shadow).

Artist: Gary Smith

However, as I close in onto the elements within this impressionistic work of Street Art, I don’t care about the shadow, or the heavy traffic whipping by.

Artist: Gary Smith

It is an alluring piece of art, and perfect to thank Frank for his contributions to Kids’ Month.

Aww, look at the cute kitty in a basket!

Look at these 2 cute doggies!

In this mural, the child is a local Corktown kid. However, a kid that will steal your heart is found at the Cincinnati Zoo, in Frank’s post On A Special Local Kid.

Thank you, Frank!

☆♡ Thank You ♡☆

This mural is for all the dear bloggers who visited, liked &/or commented. during Kids’ Month. It’s also for my amazing blog pals who contributed. ❤

Artist: Mike Johnston

There are only 2 roses in this mini-mural by Mike Johnston, but I took a bouquet of pics.

Artist: Mike Johnston

I wanted to link each pic to a Kids’ Month contributor, but that’s a lot of links in 1 post.

Artist: Mike Johnston

So, I’ve decided to thank all contributors to Kids’ Month in separate, special posts.

Artist: Mike Johnston

It could take a couple of months to find all the appropriate art, but I know I will!

Thank you, all! This post is for you!

KIDS’ MONTH 2016

Water

Fresh water is one of the most important things in life.

Benji & Ms. Zulu remind us in my last post, that all plants & animals need plenty of fresh water to live and grow.

SO, how can we keep it clean? Can we pollute less? How will life grow if it drinks poison?

There is one other side to this mini-mural. Looks to me like kids are sharing.

Here’s older kids, still sharing.
