Had a hunch, turned into an alley and found a pixie.

I adore this art piece.
The above shot is taken using the Pano setting on my Iphone. However, instead of panning side to side, I turn the camera on its side and pan up from the bottom. Hence, the curve, which I like!
The reflected skyline view in the sunglasses seems reasonably correct. However, one lens is from the lake view, and the other from the land view.
It faces a parking lot. The car reflections come from quite high up, so sometimes are not as crisp, as usual.

There are reflections in the windows on the other side of the parking lot. These windows are about the 6th story.
Look at this gorgeous Monarch with 3 Burners.
Nick Sweetman did the Monarch. He even put a crown on it.
This beautiful, yet heart rending poem is written by the fabulous Holly from House of Heart and reproduced here with her permission.
THE MONARCH
From my swing
I spot the Monarch
sipping from a nectary,
gently I snare him
by his dew drenched wings.
I wonder if he knows
his fate lies in my hands.
Clutched between my fingers
imagine how his heart pounds.

19 years ago, there were clouds of Monarchs during migration season. 5 years ago, I did not see even 1 Monarch. So, 4 years ago we planted Milkweed in the back yard. It is the only plant Monarchs lay eggs in.
I’d also heard that they are attracted to their own colours, and colours of the Milkweed. Ours is green and orange. It took until this summer to get the painting organized. I’m pleased to say that I saw about 50- 100 Monarchs this year.
The Burners represent the sky, a sunset and the green earth. By: #tensoe2 #ctr #2hel.

The wall was constantly being tagged. This is what it looked like before the painting.
The best is; since the Burners were painted…not 1 tag!
There are white squirrels in Trinity – Bellwoods Park.
Apparently they are not a breed, but more like albino squirrels.
They have created more white squirrels.
Toronto is so proud of these rare beauties …
That we have named a street after them.
I have not seen one, but I don’t have hours to sit quietly, in a Squirrel Zen State, with a bag of peanuts. Although, it’s on my “To do list”.

The Artist:
First things, first! Congratulations to Sath & Johanna!
They have created the most beautiful 👼 Lila 👼!
I’ve always believed Sath would be an amazing father. Much of his art is for kids & he teaches them through interactive art experience.
Two recent pieces Sath has done are collaborations with SIK. Above is Crow-n. I absolutely adore it. Below is a 21 second video of a mural with a big message about “the orangutans, the palm oil industry and the deforestation”
Check out the details of the mural from Sath & Sik!
“about one of the main causes of climate change. The logging and burning of forests by the timber industry, as well as by obtaining soil for agriculture and livestock are razing the lung of the planet and the species that live there.”
Above is ZoOrquesta Decoración” The slide show above is is filled with animal instruments Sath did for a Music School. La Escuela de Música local del @ajsonservera.

“Work done live during the last Nit de l’Art de Son Servera. As always, a real pleasure to paint in a place as magical as the Església Nova and see so many known people.”
What a fab frog! An animal may not be able to change its spots, but Sath can.
“I present to you Toni Serra, the student of Aproscom chosen through a draw to be the image of the 4th edition of the @proyecto.somriu.” SOM – RIU is a participatory mural project to aid people with intellectual disabilities. Learn more! Visit a previous GLaM post: SOM – RIU.

My sincerest Thank You’s to Sath, for allowing me the privilege of of continuing to cover his career, in the world of art and humanities. Also, gratitudes to Johanna! Her ongoing work for our planet began with Greepeace, & now with an NGO called Compassion in World Farming. They are truly a Renaissance Couple! – Resa
Below is an interview with Sath. He’s that uber happy, proud daddy you see above.
