I’m sure it’s Joni Mitchell.
It’s on Bank Street in Ottawa..
…with Gordon Lightfoot.
Although, I’m not sure who the last 2 (accordion & guitar) are.

The artist is unknown to me.
This is the first mural I spotted in Ottawa.
I gasped as we drove by. Zena was driving, so I was able to spot it. I returned later to shoot it.
I love the colors. The panorama looks fab blown up.
I can’t figure out this animal. The best I can come up with is a boar.
Any other suggestions?

The Artist: Yeah, I can’t read it, but it’s in conjunction with Ottawa Urban Arts
I love the burnout from the sun!
Be still my beating flower drum song!

Zena & I were headed to the tailor & I spotted this big swath of color.
The wall is almost like a tile, and there are no first story windows.
I used a neighboring second story porch to take a lot of the shots.
This looks great if you blow it up.

The face is fantastic from a gluttony of angles & perspectives.

We’re in for a Street Art Treat! Brenda has written a beautiful piece of prose to some pics I sent her. I just love this! xo
I think these are Lemurs. If anyone knows better, I’m all ears!

Nick Sweetman has painted a construction wall fence. It will be gone when building is finished.

I had to photograph it in 5 sections, as it is quite long and runs around a corner .

It seems Nick had some help from “Patch” & (Oben Flats or Of Ben Lats)?

Ste J from Book to the Future has found Batman…

…on a mural in Nottingham. Ste J writes this about the mural he found.
“Whilst criss crossing the Hockley area of Nottingham. I came across this befitting mural on the side of the Nottingham Art Theatre”

“If all the world’s a stage, then it follows that all the world should be thought of as a canvas backdrop onto which to put many scenes, that we the actors can take our cue from.”

“After all what is a stage but the interpretation of space and the forms thereon. Imagination is as much a process of life as art.”

“I like the idea of Batman watching me for entertainment, I can’t smash up building with reckless abandon to bring bad guys to justice but I can avoid oncoming traffic and check my shoelaces are tied.”
