I like walking on the beach. It’s good for the mind, body, and soul – and refreshing on my feet.

Creativity is a powerful word – so are related words create and creative. These words of similar meaning, but create is the verb, creativity the noun, and creative the adjective – but today I think of these words as a collective.

My first thought is about those creative with their hands – sewists, quilters, crafters, 3-dimensional artists as…

Discombobulation

I went on a 4 hour street art walk yesterday.

My bum ankle kicked in at hour 2.5, so I donned my ankle tensor.

Wait ’til you see the Nick Sweetman rat I found at hour 2.25! I think it’s a rat.

Anyway, I was exhausted when I found this stunningly gorgeous planter at hour 3.25. It was so low to the ground, that I sat on a “low rider” step. This way I got a straight on shot.

All the hip people at the coffee window 2 doors down from  me, were quite amused. I wear a bottle of hand sanitizer around my neck, so I did a big deal hand sanitizer application for their eyes only.

Their eyes followed me to the opposite side of the planter. I had to capture it, despite oncoming traffic.

I squished myself uncomfortably, between 2 parked cars.

Couldn’t get a dead on, but did my best. Got home, ate and fell asleep. Woke up discombobulated for the day.

It’s my honour and pleasure to introduce the Greek artist Marina Kanavaki and her fine art to you. Many years ago Marina and I got to know each other through WordPress. Marina is not only a talented painter but also a graphic designer and musician. I’m sure that some of you are already familiar with her beautiful art. Nevertheless I would like to give her a stage on my blog too. Marina was so kind to let me use her biography text and her photo’s. Please respect the copyright of her work. May you enjoy her art as much as I do.

It’s about vintage records, and Neil has discovered a “Guess Who” album. In 2011 when Keith & Neil were added to this mural mostly painted in 1999, the famous Winnipeg band was also very vintage.

Face w/ Cat Bonus

I liked this a lot when I found it in Kensington Market.

It fell into the un-posted hoards in my photos archives.

Due to the lockdown, I haven’t been able to leave my extended hood for over a year.

Holly – House of Heart suggested I comb my photos stash. I found about 50 pieces. Thank you, dahling!

CAT BONUS

This cat has been on top of the world, ever since I can remember. It’s on the way out of Kensington Market, on Dundas West.

Hopefully the stash will help until some more art pops up in my walking zone.

Bret the Hitman Hart

I ❤️ Bret Hart!

I’m the short one with the bangs. We worked together on a movie directed by Eric Stoltz .

Never knew what to make of this wall art.

Now, I’m thinking, maybe he got into the ring w/Bret?

Okay, so I’m trying to use up my superfluous pics of street art.

Wandering into the alleys of my life at the same time.
