    1. It’s so fab, Frank. It’s a crummy underpass to the freeway. All the trusses are painted. There are skateboard ramps, a basketball mini-court, play stations for the pre- schoolers, and more! Toddlers, families and more all enjoy what would have been a dangerous place in the past. It was a busy, friendly urban park today!!

        1. I am very happy about our street artists in Toronto, and the city who pays for the paint. We all make our city a beautiful and safe place. Street Art is an important factor in 21st century life.

    1. TY, Holly!
I walked for 3 hours today looking for art. I fell in love the moment I saw this piece. (Thought of you and GiGi!) Imagine, turning an urban underpass, which had been a place for not good things, into a haven for children, families and street art hounds like me.
Everything is possible, and right now I feel love!

        1. Hope springs eternal! Art is a conduit… whether it is beautiful messages through painting, poetry ( like yours!), writing stories (GiGI) dance ..LOL or even Greek Mythology and Tarot Cards. We are all the richer for our ability to embrace the positive, while enduring the negative. ❤

    1. I agree, and I adore this piece! I thought of you and Holly when I found it.
OMG.. I found a mural in China Town with a Tiger and a good luck Kitty! Totally thought of you… a 2 cat murlal!!!

      1. I’m so happy you keep your eyes out for art in all its forms. Your creations of gowns are so beautiful and ethereal. Just heavenly! (I hope this is who I think does design gowns with flowers, leaves. . . ) 💙

        1. OMG! Yes, I design the Art Gowns. They are my pride and joy. They each take 3 – 6 months to make. I have a new Art Gown in the home stretch. She is gorgeous! i should be posting her on Art Gowns in about 4 weeks! ❤

  1. Magnificent work of art! light and happiness. 🙂

Hi! Resa. How are you? I know its been awhile…guess what? Remember that job I said I got and wrote about on my blog. Well, I had to quit. I only worked for 3 days. It was really bad…and I mean really, really, bad. Low pay and not worth it.

Anyway, I’m back and I’ll be posting something cool soon. 🙂

    1. I had a feeling you would quit!
I quit all of those types of jobs when I was your age. I was happier sitting on the side of the road selling my bead necklaces and embroideries.
May I suggest applying to film production companies to be a PA? Do you drive?
It’s still work, but it’s not so routine, and people appreciate you. I’ve seen many writers rise through the ranks. ❤

    1. A moped? I need to walk, or I’ll seize up. Walking is my exercise! However, you are correct, I would look very cute on a moped. Perhaps I could borrow one from a friend and just pose with it, while they take my pic. 😀 x

    1. I searched all around the piece of art, but there was no signature. I may find out who the artist is in the future. Still, I adore this piece! xoxoxo

  2. Brilliant ! What a great painting and it really tells a story. I hope you haven’t worn out your shoes with all that walking dear Resa and that you wore boots. 🎶 ” These boots were made for walking” 🎶
Got to get ready for tomorrow now ! Big hug. Ralph xoxoxo ❤

    1. OMG!!! Is it your wedding day! Bit of a distraction in Canada, today, so I have fallen behind.
Sending best wishes, wedding bells and cake! Much love to both of you!!!!! ❤ ❤ ❤

      1. Yes, the deed is done ! All went well and we had a lovely day with her dad.
I hope that you were not involved with the distraction I read about in the newspapers. Stay safe my friend, especially in the underpasses and alleys.
        Love back. Ralph xoxoxo ❤

    1. Underpass Park is a wonderful place. It is to the credit of our city, its residents and artists that such a drab useless place becomes an environment of beauty and joy!

    1. They could be the same character. That is a very interesting thought, an older and younger self, perhaps. I originally thought a mother and daughter. 😀 HUGS!

Walk safely my dear on a day of joy for the crown and a day of horror for Toronto seems we all must pray with more intention. Stay safe out there.

    1. Thank you, Eunice! I will walk safely, as safe as I can. A day of joy for the crown was, in fact, a horror in Toronto.
Soon, there will be another day of joy for the crown, and America will have a Princess. I am so excited! Sending HUGS!

        1. I agree with you. I know when I go out to look for art in the streets, and then I find some, I feel exhilarated, healed, victorious or at least satisfied. Thank you, Rob!

            1. It may be. All I know is that I have many artists in my family, I have been to the Art Gallery (AGO) many times and to lots of art showings. Nothing piques me like art in the streets.
So happy you love street art, too!

  4. The love and joy on both their faces are wonderful and uplifting. This painting is highly skilled and makes good use of the unusual location …I wouldn’t mind walking along this underpass and being enriched with such art! 😀

Speak your art mind!
