I was all shivers when I found this outstanding mural in east end Toronto.

This pic is worth blowing up with 1 click on the pic!

Lucky me! There were reflections in windows across the street.

Beautiful Resa!
Thank you, Wendell! I wish you could see this amazing work in real life!
Blessings to you and yours!
Amazing!
Yeah! I was thrilled, thrilled and more thrilled when I found this. This mural is bar-none an A1 beauty! Best to you! 😀
Fantastic art. Coltrane’s eyes are amazing. Your photos really did these pieces justice, I imagine.
Thank you about my photos!
The pics are wow, because the art is fabulous. Coltrane’s eyes are amazing in this piece. It is wonderful to see this in the street!
The gallery, outdoors.
Oh, WOW! THAT is fabulous. They are gorgeous! What a beautiful work of art. Holiday and Coltrane. Perfect.
I agree! I luv it, too! ❤
Wonderful!
I surely agree with that!

Absolutely stunning, Resa; from left, all the way to the right…
I loved the era of music they both portrayed. Fitting they should be honoured in this way.. 🙂
xoxoxo
It is an outstanding work. 😀 It was on theother side of town, and worth the trip over there. I found 2 other fab murals. I always seem to post my faves first, though. xoxoxo
Outstanding art! Her eyes are sparkling.
I agree, it is outstanding. I love the sparkling eyes! I was lucky enough one day to bump into a graffiti artist in the alley behind my home. I asked how they made sparkles and star shines with a can of spray paint, and he showed me!
Lucky you! Have you taken any pictures of the demo?
No, but I might try to recreate it.
Oh, my what a find!!!! Amazing work indeed and I love your captures of the reflections! xxxxxxxxxxx love from Hera and me! xxxxxxxxx
It was a thrilling mural to shoot! It was a very good day, even if my cats won’t come for a walk with me. Lol! I also found an animal mural that day. It’s mostly dogs and cats, and it’s as sweet as can be! Love to you and Hera! xoxoxoxoxoooxoxoxoxoxo
wow, Resa. What a rare and stunning find.!! Great photo’s too, they bring the images alive! ❤
Thanks, Francina! It was a great find! Thank you for your nice words about my pics! Have a great weekend ahead! ❤
Have a great weekend too, Resa ❤
I wonder how many holidays Billie Holiday went on?
I don’t know! Maybe Judy Holliday knows?
Anyway… I hate wearing jeans, and I don’t have any pics of me wearing all black, which I pretty much live in. Maybe a black gown? Looking into it!
All black is good. If you can do my a Titanic wig that looks natural, as with Zane, I shall wear it.
Great, extraordinary! I love!!
Today’s post has a wonderful soundtrack, Eleanora and John, two of the best …
You have found a good collaborator, that window is priceless 🙂 🙂
The windows are cool! 😀 I adore reflections. It is wonderful portraiture for street art! So much talent, and lots of fun! Hugs and have a fab weekend! 😀
Happy weekend to you too!!
That’s VERY cool how you noted the reflections in the windows across!
I adore reflections, and I’ve always got an eye out! So lucky here, and luv that you get the reflection thing! 😀 x
The paintings ARE great, Resa and so are your photos ❤
Best wishes,
Hanna
Well, thanks, Hanna, but when the artist is so great, it’s easy to be a photographer.
Love to you! xo
Oh, my …!! This time you’ve outresad Resa! First – how can it be that Toronto is such a graffiti gold mine. Second – your pics of the window reflections just leave me breathless!
Ellington
It is a great mural, and I am thrilled to have captured it! TY, Ellington!
They’re beautiful, Resa! The reflections are cool too.
Thanks, Carolee! You are very cool, yourself! xo
Thank you. As are you, Resa! xoxo
Those are amazing, Resa.
Well, Bumba, I totally agree with you! Have a fab week!
I love larger than life tributes to people who were great contributors! Shades of black, white, and gray work well. Great catch in the windows.
Agree, and this was a thrilling find! Thanks about the window reflections!
Wow!! These are really incredible, Resa. Do artists have to get permission from building owners to do this or do most get commissioned to do them?
Well, sometimes artists just get permission from the owner, and do their own thing. Sometimes they are commissioned and sometimes you just wake up in the morning and there is art on your home. All in all, I love it!
Yeah, I figured that was probably how it worked but I just thought I would clarify. When it is good weather again here, I should get to downtown Redding and take some pictures of a few of the largest murals on buildings there. I don’t know why I’ve never thought of it before! 🙂
Send them my way! I’ll do a guest spot! They’re lots of fun! 😀
Really? Well I will try to get some good shots then. Thanks so much! If my arm could handle huge paint strokes I would try it! 😊
Reblogged this on Die Erste Eslarner Zeitung – Aus und über Eslarn, sowie die bayerisch-tschechische Region!.
Thank you for sharing. Have a great week.;-) Michael
Hey Michael! I love sharing street art! You have a great week, too!
Thank you very much, Resa! Wonderful street art, i also love it. Thank you for your efforts on collecting, and have a good week. 😉 Michael

Hey Lauren! Yes, this mural gave twice…. the art itself, and the reflection in the windows. 😀 ❤️
Amazing stuff Resa, they just keep getting better and better. Being a John Coltrane & Billie Holiday fan, I especially enjoyed these.
I’m with you on that!
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Really nice when is it up north I need to come visit where I can eat and over do it on adult beverages twice in one year. 😉
Stunning!
Agree!
