This mural, in Winnipeg, was painted in 2006.

I captured it in late 2014, on a muralling expedition with Sherrie & (Bessie, the Tiburon who is gone)

It covers 2 walls, 1 on each side of a parking area.

One is about breads.

The other is about wedding cakes.

It is a damned gorgeous mural! I do have a lot of fun! ♡
That one feels so friendly and inviting. Warm bread and welcome. Beautiful.
Mmm, warm bread, mmm. I especially love warm rye or sourdough!
I think the sepia tone helps deliver that warm feeling.
Wow, what a lot of detail in this one, Resa. Another great find!
Ummm… At the risk of sounding foolish; was Bessie a car? 🙂
You got it! Bessie aka the Rocket, was a little red sports car. We had soo much fun in that car. It purred like a tiger. lol She & Sherrie took me to many murals. 😀 There’s a new car now, but, she’s not so exciting. I’ll have to ask Sherrie what her name is. xoxo
Oh how I miss Bessie. I’m still bitter about her being gone so I haven’t named the new one. As a great man once said, it’s just transportation 😉
I miss Bessie, too! 😀 She was like a Dickens novel…the best of times and the worst of times. ❤
As one who loves excellent bread, I gotta love this one. All the natural colors is awesome … and very appropriate for its theme.
I agree with you, Frank. I’ve always liked bread, but could go weeks without a slice. Recently, I’ve discovered a new hunger for it. Could be that new bakery up the street.
These are all so wonderfully done Resa! Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful week ahead! Hugs and blessings!
Agree, and hugs and blessings back, Wendell!
I like bread.
Of course you do! Bread and cheese are almost perfect together! 😀
wow, stunning , Resa. It looks like a real photograph on the wall. Amazing. ❤
The Murals of Winnipeg are all gorgeous! They are a step above street art. Of course we have some murals here in Toronto, too! ❤
Very nice! It’s making me hungry.
Bread is a very attractive food! 😀
Resa, beautiful art as always. Thank you for always sharing and showing your wonderful contribution to the arts, fashion, and the community itself. You are super awesome and sweet. 🙂
Thank you sweet Charlie! 😀 I’ll head over to your most recent poem now! 😀
You’re welcome, my sweet and wonderful friend. 🙂
These are fantastic Resa, the mustached fella looks like my Dad-in-Law, striking really. I too got hungry. 😉
Maybe he modeled for it? 😀
It is definitely a well done dual mural! 😀
This is a large one! I like the wedding cake in particular. I would like to request a 3D version in which I get to consume a piece of the cake 😉 Please ❤
OMG! That would be a lot of cake. There go my thighs!
I wonder if 3D printers will be able to print out cakes one day?
Already happening with the 3D printing: https://youtu.be/YS2KmDrCWug 😉
LOL!!!!
Wonderful Resa!
Agree!
