Her work lights up my heart & mind, always has.

She was one of the 1st to finish her piece.

That was amazing, as the artists were behind schedule (rain), & I had to leave 2 hours early on the 2nd day. Not all pieces were done.

  1. I just love the top one. So colourful. I see you like it too dear Resa as you have added it to your sidebar.
Happy Sunday my friend. Ralph xoxox #< ❤

    1. I have added it to my sidebar, and inside the pic, if one clicks on it, will eventually be all of the posts from the festival. Right now there’s only 2, but eventually al! xoxo ❤ #<

  2. Wow… I agree, Resa, both these artists are quite fantastic. I really enjoy their style; bold and colourful.
How great that you got to meet Shalak; as well as getting a future invitation; she really is magically talented.
So, what becomes of the canvasses? I can’t imagine them remaining in good condition left as they are in the elements! 🙂

    1. As far as I know to date, Sath’s canvas was sold. He got the lion’s share of the cash. Will ask Shalak when I see her, about what happened to hers. ❤ xoxoxo

    1. Thank you very much, Laurent! Love this interview. I got to meet Shalak & she is amazing. I will go to Winnipeg in October to see the wall she will paint there. It is a very BIG wall!

  3. What a range these artists have. It must have been an emotional journey to see all of these, close together, emerging from small cylinders of paint and tiny cylinders of chalk. And people’s imaginations. So completely free and joyful.
