Can you believe the following images are chalk on a road?

Nate Baranowski & the other 2 Chalk Artists in this post are all from Florida.

As it rained the first day, the chalk artists had only 1 day to work their magic.

All was not finished when I headed back to TO, but I shot what it was.

I really would have liked to have seen this and all of the chalk art finished.

Still, what I saw was glorious, & I’m going back for next year’s festival – August 12 & 13.

I fell in love with this frog. It’s fairy tale beauty was evident long before it was finished.

I was going to present the art in a kind of organized order, but you know what? We wandered around for 2 days. There was no organized order. So I’m just wandering around my pics & making cohesive posts.

Unbelievable how incredible this art is, Resa, chalk on the roadtop. While they are all skillful and artistic, I especially like Nate Baranowski’s creations.
I was very impressed by his piece!
Amazing! I plan on attending the Chalktoberfest in Atlanta for my first time and I hope to see some creations like these!
I’m sure you will see amazing art at Chalktoberfest! How exciting for you. I hope you have the best time & post a few pics on your blog!
O yes! Thank you
Wow, wow, wow….!
When in Sydney, a couple of weeks past, I came across a chalk artist. I stood mesmerized for a number of minutes, thought about taking a pic, but couldn’t get near enough to get a good shot. Such wonderful talent these people have, and such different styles as well. You must have been in your element, Resa… Art, art, and more art..! 🙂
xoxoxo
I had the best time! I didn’t care that it rained & many pieces weren’t finished before left. All finished can happen next year! … Or not. I want to go again! xoxoxo 😀
😀 😀 😀
Fantastic, unbelievable talent, and I;m thinking I was there at the same time you were, and alas our paths never crossed. 😦
You were at the festival? 😀
Not at the festival but in the area. Can’t believe the opportunity was missed. 😦
I’m going back next year, I hope! 😀
Resa, I love the man with the hat! Indy!
Awesome drawings ❤
Agree! ❤
The one of Sean Connery is brilliant, so realistic. BTW did you kiss the frog dear Resa and find a prince, or did you just get chalk on your nose ? 😉 Ribbit !
Big hug. Ralph xoxox ❤ ##
Lol! The frog is adorable. ❤ xoxo <#
Absolutely amazing. Chalk. Just incredible. Thank you so much.
I knew there would be chalk art, but I had no idea the artists would be sooo amazing.
Soooo amazing! I can’t fathom being able to do anything like that!
I know…. and then the rain washes it away!
Stunning !Incredible talent !
Agree, and on the sidewalk. Let them decorate the world!
So beautiful and wonderful! I had no idea about chalk art. I hope to see some of it someday.
Chalk art is very amazing & I am sure you will see some soon. Street art is such a growing movement around the world.
Spectacular!
… and all with chalk on the road! Pretty fab.
I just love these. Yes, very difficult to believe it’s chalk! So well done!
& one rain… it’s all gone! Talk about ephemeral!
I AM HARRISON FORD!!
I’m sure you are! ⭐ Hahaha!
So many fairy tales in all of these. The frog had a personality — in those amazing eyes.
