Blue Prince

There’s a rumor going around that if you kiss a frog, he’ll turn into a prince. What if it was a blue frog like this one from a Mural that covers Pet Traders at 1333 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg? Would he turn into a blue prince? What if you accidentally kissed a toad? Don’t worry!

Pretty Girls 2

“Diamonds are nice and so are pearls,
but there’s nothing like us pretty girls” (unknown quote)

This quote was submitted  by Le Drake Noir  in the comments section of my post from February 2, 2013 titled “For Your Love”

It has inspired my series of Pretty Girl Posts, so all “Pretty Girl” posts are dedicated to Le Drake Noir.

Photographs are numbered 1 -7. #1-3 are pieces of Winnipeg Murals.

#1 is the Girl in the Red Dress. The Mural it is taken from is officially titled “A trip On The Avenue”. It is painted by:  Mandy van Leeuwen & Michel Saint Hilaire. #2 is painted by Tom Andrich – #3 is painted by Roger Sheridan.

# 4 – 7 are from Graffiti Art or Murals by artists unknown to me at this point. They were shot in Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Sea Bugs?

I was in the lane behind 445 River Avenue in Winnipeg. I was shooting the centered piece of Graffiti Art, but when I saw a giant bug I ran for cover.

Fence #2

I was frozen with fear as I heard Sherrie (My Official Driver and Photographer)  shout, “Hold it! Don’t move! That’s It! Got it!” I was sure she’d slain one.

Not that it’s less creepy, but now that I look at them they might be Ocean or Sea Bugs?

Rainbow Beauty, Too

This is not the best shot I took of these Rainbow Beauties that grace Rainbow Stage, but I inadvertently captured their reflections in a puddle. I love it!

They are so gorgeous that I am dedicating a Post to each one. Here is “Rainbow Beauty, Too”
