Hummmm

The colours are just gorgeous on this garage door Humming Bird.

The flowers, insects… beautiful.

The alley’s garage doors are an outdoor gallery.

This row is across form a park. Past the park, both sides of the alley are lined with art. Timothy says he’ll do a 360. Next alley, or this one when I get back to it, I will take the needed shots!

The Snail Lady

It’s a whole new appreciation for snails!

I would NEVER eat one.

Although they seem to make cute pets.

They are possibly good for your skin, but I haven’t googled that.

Eye had an epic failure trying to make a Snail Lady of my own.

Still, Eye got to try 3 new colours in a new brand of water colour pencils. What was Eye thinking? A Snail Lady with blue eyes?

Rhinos’ Playdate

This post is a loving tribute  to all Rhinos.

RHINOS

Gigi made Rhinos for Holly, Beth and Resa. Aren’t they beautiful? They each got to name their own Rhino.

They decided their Rhinos should meet for a playdate in a Flower Fairy Garden.

Of course, where there are flowers, there are butterflies. Hello, Butterfly Boa Lady here! Like me, the Rhinos will be adored by all butterflies.

 Runway belongs to Holly.

Rosy belongs to Resa.

Resa horned in with a little fun with Beth’s fun.

Roland belongs to Beth.

Resa scouted the garden, to make sure there were more than enough flowers for the Rhino’s, and that there would be plenty left for fairies and butterflies.

Resa photographed this beautiful Rhino & Waterbirds mural in 2014. It’s since been demolished, but if you click on the pic, you can visit the post

Thank you for for taking the time to enjoy our Rhinos Playdate Scrapbook!

Blue Tit & Arnie in Blue

Direct from Manchester, UK; courtesy of Alex Morris via Professional Moron is this fabulous wall art of a Blue Tit,  by Sarah Yates.

“This piece was commissioned in 2011 by Converse as part of the Wall to Wall project. Sarah Yates is an illustrator focusing on topics of environmental awareness. She is well known for mixing graffiti with graphic design and taking inspiration from nature, especially from birds, which are her favourite subjects, as we can see in this large-scale mural depicting a large blue tit.”

As a thank you to Alex, I present this garage door art of Arnold Schwarzenegger.

I find the piece quite humorous, indeed.

If you have ever been to the Professional Moron blog, you will see that humour reigns supreme, which makes this the most apt thank you.

Of course it’s not all fun, much of which can involve Arnie & other famous personalities. Alex does fab book reviews, movie reviews and game reviews.

🌼Humungous thank you’s to Alex for the Blue Tit!🌼

4 Gi Metallicat

There was a Metallicat a few blocks from me, but it got painted over.

It was very exciting to find a new 4 Gi Metallicat in Kensington Market.

It’s the year of the butterflies out in the alleys. On my street art safari, I also found birds and faces, but no cats, except for Metallicat.

Maybe next year will be a good street art cat year.
