One of my very early attempts at capturing a mural.

The prairie sun is a killer. If it wasn’t for a few wispy clouds, I would have called it “blind” and gone home. No wonder Sherrie was so insistent on just the right sunglasses.

Done in 2004, I believe the Artist, Annie Bergen was still in Art School.

Mermaids’ Mural

There are 2 cleverly inserted Mermaids in a mural at 1036 Main Street, Winnipeg.

I saw the second mermaid for the first time, as I was making this post. She’s up in the left corner, the exact opposite corner from Mermaid Blue who is in the upper right corner.

Don’t miss the gorgeous little Sea Horse!

I cropped  out the Mermaid on the left, and tried to fix it. It’s not good, but I put it in the slideshow, anyway.

I saw the second one tonight for the first time. She was up in the opposite corner from Mermaid Blue.

I did a crop and tried to fix it, but it was not good so I’m not posting it.

Goldfish Alley Finished

Continued from my previous Post:

East of Dufferin Street, south of Queen W. W. is a piece of alley marked by a Goldfish on the corner of a parking lot.

From the end of the alley, walking back to the Goldfish it looks like:

Then we pass Goldfish Alley Stars from the other way.

Then there’s this tasty piece after the Stars with a Graf doorway in between.

Here’s three slices of the North side of Goldfish corner alley.  It’s got nothing to do with fish.

I’ll try to tie the entirety of this section  of alley up  tomorrow!
