MURAL OF THE YEAR 2007

Tabor Baptist Church at 710 Rue Madeline

This mural was one of my earlier shoots from a trip to Winnipeg in the fall of 2012.

Painted in 2000, this mural at 591 Rue Archibald on heavy stucco still looks great.

My battery was almost dead when Sherrie got me here. It was to be our last stop.
Around the corner, was the rest of the mural. The prairie sun was so intense at this point that with the “snow blindness” I didn’t know what I was shooting.

This mini mural is on a shutter, and is only viewable when the store is closed which is almost never. Also, it’s in the heart of Winnipeg’s special traffic.

It was Good Friday, and Sherrie got me to the shutter at 253 Vaughn Street on time just before my camera battery died.

In Winnipeg: Here’s the 2nd side of the “Hand In Hand” garage.

Good thing there was a filthy 4 foot ice-hill on location so I could climb it to get shots.
.

Side 3 comes around the corner… tomorrow.
