Look at what Sherrie and I had the good fortune to visit on Queen W.W!

Another rewarding day!

What a great city!

IN FLANDERS FIELDS
by John McCrae, May 1915

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

In the alley north of Bloor Street West between Dundas West and Keele that runs along the subway tracks …..
I’m back in Toronto, but it will be a few days until I hit the streets.
So I have decided to post one from my rather large collection of street art.
It has not debuted on GLaM before.
Yes… it’s an iffy Marilyn and a Bruce Lee!
Hitchcock anyone?

From Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
This amazing mural (unfinished) is on a very long and constantly curved wall along the free-way.
I had to shoot it in sections from a car window.
My Assistant Designer, Zena was my Driver.
Zena told me about it , and made a point to take me on a Sunday (her day off)
I Love Zena, and I luv this mural.
The artist is unknown to me, but I will add the credit if and when I find out.
A bliss fish, kiss!
This is a rendition of an actual bridge in Gatineau.
