On a storage container between the Sorauren Market & ice rink,

there’s this fab Anser Graf.

The sun was very low on my right. This is one end of the container.

The sun is behind the container here, & it was only -3C, approx 28F

This artist is turning an art exercise into his brand.

At the 2nd end, the shadows from the rods to open & close the container create bar shadows. It looks like this face is in jail.

The final side has a frost fence running alongside, about 1 meter separates the container & fence. It creates a veil-like shadow.

On the other side of the fence.

It gives the impression of a strong, straight-forward piece of a blue period showing of cubism
Wow! That’s great to know. I have not studied art to any great degree, but I love street art & have been gathering knowledge through this medium.
Like the shadow too… 😉 😀
Thank you, x LDN! 🙂 😀
Great faces, Resa. Love the photographs.
TY on the photos! The sun was a drama coach when I took these shots.
The style and symmetry are so interesting!
Agree! Here, I think less is more. Just a thought.
I like the sharp lines and you have a good eye for imagery with the jail motif.
Aww, thank you Ste J! I mean about ” a good eye”! I do the best I can when I find the art, to do it justice. The sun’s angle gave me visual flavor here.
It is not just your eye but your imagination that helps interpret, or perhaps reinterpret what the creator intended. Either way I enjoy your words and the accompanying photos very much!
Really interesting line art! Simple, yet expressive at the same time.
Exactly! Well said.
So theatrical to me!
Interesting! It is theatrical… like the masks of the Muses!
Mysterious and interesting, love the shadow!!
Shadows are fun! Thank goodness, because I couldn’t really get a shot without it.
Interesting work, it appears that is made with one endless line, has a nice flow to it.
It’s like that art exercise where you have to draw something without taking your pencil off the paper & no erasing. This artist is very good at it!
This artist creates a wonderful
graffiti that looks rather simplistic
by design, though after saying
that, I can see the intricacies in
every scene, such that although
the work appears easy, it has
obviously been well thought out 🙂
I like the different scenes in this one.

I know…looks easy, but just try one on your own! It was the most extraordinary find. I was walking across a vast field, and there in the middle of nothing was this storage container with art on it 🙂 xx
I like how inventive these artists are, and nothing escapes their attention to detail, which is very good for us fans of this exciting art form 🙂 I love your choices my sweet friend and I will be back soon to enjoy more of your postings 🙂 Have a great Friday and weekend dear Resa 🙂 xxx
Wow you take some beautiful photos my friend. Wow
Thank you, MM! Just found this unanswered comment! Sorry I took so long, but sometimes the comments get buried. Hope you are having the best Valentines day!
Except for the irises and pupils of eyes, it appears that the faces are done as one continuous, flowing spray.
Awesome!
Agree! The artist has really been perfecting this technique!
Really love these simple gestural faces. He makes it look so easy but that takes real talent and practice!
Agree & he’s gotten really great at it!
