Toronto is now employing art to hold up its freeways.
Or on ramps…

I found an acre of art under the DVP today. It’s Wynwood… Toronto style. Wait ’til I show you!

What a great find. Wonderful art.
I can hardly wait to show it all. I took a lot of shots, but my battery ran out. Of course I’m returning. There are 4 painted supports here, and about a block away there’s about 50 pieces.
The city took a place that was once ugly and dangerous and made a cement art park.
Lots of kids were skate boarding there.
Very cool!!!
It’s so great to stand there and see it. What a neat city this is, that puts art in really drab cement places.
Beautiful, I love it!
I can hardly wait to show the rest! There’s an area about an acre big, all cement under a conglomeration of on and off ramps. It was so ugly, now the place is filled with Street Art. It is a cement art park.
Looks so good underneath that bridge.
It’s amazing, and this is just the tip of the art!
What an innovative design and fantastic idea, LOVE IT!!! My very favorite for sure, I can understand your excitement, this is a very super COOL transformation for an ugly stretch of concrete! Looking forward to see all your shots Resa!
What a great way to liven up the pillars!
I agree! 🙂
These are fabulous – and this city rocks!
It is like Toronto has become it’s own brand of Wynwood. There’s some fab Street Art Festivals planned for next summer. I only hope I can go, esp.to http://www.cambridgestreetartfestival.com/ You will love this site!
Oh my, I have been out of my WordPress account too long … Thanks for the link!
