It’s a today mural, but the women’s tunics are traditional!
I’d like to know more about the mural/artist. There’s a close-up on the signature in the slideshow.
Found in Kensington Market, it’s gorgeous painting all round!

Outstanding! Thanks for sharing Resa.
Your welcome! I have to get back to the Market. There is a lot more art there. Just need the weather to warm up… a lot!
Where are you Resa ? I’ve no idea ! Kensington, London ? Hanoi ? Toronto ? You are such a gadabout ! π Keep warm my friend. xoxox β€ #< #< #<
I’m in H-E-double hockey pucks! π All kidding aside, I’m gadding about in Toronto. Yes, we have a Kensington Market here, and it is a fab place!
I’m romanticized by the pre-war Saigon, however Ho Chi Minh City doesn’t have the same ring about it. Nonetheless, wherever I could be in Vietnam, it’s got to be warmer than here. -17C and falling!
Did you manage to ditch Rhonda?

Sticks ! Hockey sticks ! Pucks are the little round things they hit !
But what do I know !
-17C ? Wow ! That’s cold enough to take your Slush Puppy for a walk ! π
I’m about to publish a new post. All the new craziness is in there concerning Ronda.
Please keep your tootsies warm my friend. #< #< β€ xox
Yes, I know about the pucks… much more expressive than sticks. I’ll stick with pucks! π π
I’ll stay warm and looking forward to your post.

W..E.. double ockey pucks ! Okay ! Who am I to disagree with a lady ? π β€ β€ xox #< #<
Dear Resa, fantastic post with amazing photos. π I love Kensington Market. It’s one of my favorite places that I’ve seen in Toronto. So many great murals but I didn’t see these amazing ones. Thanks for sharing. π
Have a nice sunday.

The pieces get painted over all the time, constantly changing. Very few pieces of Street Art survive more than a couple of years.
Unfortunately, the young taggers destroy a lot of great work.
Some of the commissioned murals have a better chance, but if they don’t have the respect of the taggers… it ca be a sad end to beautiful art.
As I said before, you should be photographed in your outfits in front of Toronto Street Art! xoxo _Resa β€
Oh it has great art. Is that guy at the side with a camera in his hands? It’s neat the women are in traditional clothes for a modern item π
Yeah.. He is taking pics of me taking pics of him! “lol”
I have always been enamored by the traditional Vietnamese women’s dress. π
There must be some fantastic Street Art In Vancouver!
There is some in Van yes and even here in Victoria. If I capture any I’ll send you pics!
I would love that!!! Of course I understand there is probably more Street Art In Vancouver than in Victoria!
Victoria was always the “pretty city”!
Toronto really is something speciel, Resa. It’s amazing with those paintings and your pictures π β€
Toronto is a great city! We love artistic human expression!
π Love your blog! β€
Resa! You made me happy before my day turned into hours π β€ Thank you.
Wow, so much detail I didn’t know where to look first. Thank you for adding the larger detail photos, Resa. The statue is phenomenal and I love the mix of traditional and modern. Outstanding <3!
I love this piece, too! I hope it survives the winter! β€
Oh, me too! xo
