Sherrie had the Rocket ready to go, as I was shooting in an underpass with crazy traffic. She doesn’t like to take me to underpasses anymore, but….!

    1. Wow! Portage & Main in January! It has the honor of being the windiest corner in Canada. That was brave of you! I enjoy Winnipeg, too! Sherries says it’s been dipping to -40c recently.

    1. Thanks! I was hesitant because it is about the zoo. However, it is still a lovely painting, as well as Mural of the Year for 2010.

      1. I guess we have to look at the nice thing, even if we do not agree with the content, although some zoos make some effort to be more a nice place for animals, and render captivity less obvious, but maybe it should be us behind cages to protect the environment…ok not us, but I do think about some…:)

  1. That is awesome! I wish we had murals like that under all overpasses in this country. It would add so much entertainment to a trip. Of course it might also cause giant traffic problems as everyone stops to enjoy and take pictures. 😀
