Futura 2000 began his graf career in the 1970’s in NYC subways. His abstract style set him apart from the other writers.

His was one of the first “Wynwood Walls” projects.

I was always wonderting if there is any truely abstract mural/graffiti art. Most pieces that are somehow abstract are in a way a kind of calligraphy. But this is unusual and really remarkable. I like it a lot.
He is a unique artist in his genre! I like it a lot, too, and I’m glad I got to see it, if only in pics. 🙂
Miami is another hot graf spot I’d like to visit. I’m glad you’re sharing some from there. This is certainly not the mainstream style – I enjoyed seeing it!
