Hopefully, this most awesome piece of art will be restored! As flaked as it was, it was a joy to behold!

This is a stunning mural for a pet shop!! More places should decorate the outside of their premises like this. It brightens up a city!!
I agree! The Pet Traders is in Winnipeg, a harsh prairie city. Nonetheless they take enormous pride in their murals. There are about 630 murals in Winnipeg, and during a stay a few months ago I managed to photograph about 125 of them.
When I returned to Toronto smitten with my new love for Street Art, I discovered Toronto is covered in it. I must have been blind!
